Highly recommended for families, good sized suite rooms and nice and
quiet. Only downside is the Pantry restaurant which has sub Denny's
standard food

We would highly recommend this hotel. There are 6 room categories from a
standard with 2 Queens, complimentary coffee/tea, mini fridge and micro,
right up to an array of 1-Bedroom King suites including a Roman or
Arabian Themed Suite with Jacuzzi for special occasions. The rooms are
modern, clean and the first that didn't give my husband and I the
heebie-jeebies when it came to walking around in our bare feet. The
staff are exceptionally (and genuinely) helpful and friendly, the
service is impeccable and hotel offers everything a 4.5 star should
including Free Parking, an Indoor Pool, Jacuzzi, Health & Fitness
Centre, an onsite Restaurant, Lounge and Pub as well as a Spa and
Conference Facilities. The location of this hotel is central to a
convenience store right across the street, the best pizza place in all
of BC (Westview Pizza) just around the corner and a Superstore in the
next block. Well worth the money. Thank you folks, all your hard work
hasn't gone un-noticed. We will definitely visit you again soon.

I arrived late around 11pm on a Saturday night and the front desk staff
(sorry can't remember gentleman's name) was extremely helpful and
courteous in getting me checked in and upstairs straight away, no
waiting - no hassles and was in my room in less than 10mins. The room
overlooked the road, but unless you looked out the window not a sound
could be heard from outside, which after a long day of travelling was
heavenly. The bed was so comfortable and to have the choice of firm and
soft pillows was amazing, and when it was check out time I didn't want
to leave. Thank you so much for an amazing stay and I'll definitely tell
my friends and when I return to Nth Vancouver I'll come stay again at
Holiday Inn.

This hotel has so much to offer for a nice relaxing stay in Vancouver,
We loved the pool area with the sauna. The restaurant had good food and
the grounds around the hotel provided a nice place to soak up the sun
and read a book in a garden atmosphere. The staff is friendly and
helpful and will guide you to area attractions. We found Vancouver to be
a very friendly place and we will be coming back.

We stayed here for four nights on a stopover on the flight from Auckland
to London. It's 10 years old, and the architect obviously had the old
Canadian Pacific chateau hotels in mind when he designed it. Our room
was a standard modern hotel bedroom, but none the worse for that, and
very comfortable. Front desk staff were excellent, and moved us without
demur when we discovered that the hotel had smoking rooms - how rare and
how civilised.
There's a busy road out the front and a dismal view, but double glazing
keeps the noise out, though the rooms at the back, overlooking a wood,
are quieter. The restaurant is called The Pantry, and seems to be part
of a chain. This was the hotel's weakness. The service was - shall we
say - highly extrovert; this is fine, but we don't really want to know
the life story of the waitress, especially when she fails on the basics.
I note that our order was not written down (seems to be a modern fad),
so I was not too surprised when she came back and asked again, and then
forgot the starter.
But if you want to stay out of town, but close by (it's next to one of
the two bridges leading to the city), I'd recommend it.
