We selected this hotel due to the low rates, free parking and the continental
breakfast. As the rates were lower than most downtown hotels we were a bit
apprehensive about what we were getting into. Well, we should not have worried!
The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and
provided us with suggestions, maps and tips on what to see in Vancouver. There
were quite a few families staying at this place. We did not hear any street
noise in the room but this was perhaps because the traffic was subdued around
Christmas. However, the rooms face the parking lot and a couple of times the
first night I did hear vehicles pulling in and guests talking loudly. The
breakfast room is very small and packed and we had to wait 5 - 10 minutes for a
table. The breakfast itself is simple and functional! Overall we had a +ve
experience at the hotel.

Other than the fact that it rained heavily and we were soaked going anywhere, it
was great to have parking right in front of our room. Free breakfast was
fantastic with hot waffles and real juice. Also great to have fridge, and coffee
in room - A must have when travelling with kids. Free wired internet, cables
provided. Expedia price was great deal.

This was a pretty good hotel for the price. For some reason, they confused my
booking (tried to give me 1 King, instead of 2 Queens), but the front desk made
it right. Also, they seem to want to fill those rooms next to the front road
(very noisy), instead of the ones further back. Eventually, we got a room at the
back. The room was quite clean and comfortable (if a bit on the small side).
Free parking ends up being quite a bonus in this area. The Lion’s Gate Bridge
can be quite crowded, so time your arrival! All in all, this hotel provided a
good value. I will use them again when in North Vancouver.

The hotel is in a perfect location with loads to do in walking distance and
depending on where the room is located, a great view of Grouse Mountain.
Unfortunately, those are about the only highlights of the hotel. Upon check in,
the employee was not as welcoming once they realized we were from the states.
Not exactly the most professional thing to do. The cont. breakfast was so-so. If
looking for a reasonable place to stay in Vancouver and not planning on spending
a lot of time in the room than its okay, otherwise fork out the money and go
someplace they will appreciate your visit and money.

Rooms are OK. Pool and breakfast room are very small. 'Executive' breakfast
is very basic and served on paper plates, plastic cutlery and styrofoam cups.
Location is good and close to suspension bridge.

We stayed here one night while on our way home from a trip south. Check in was
quick and uneventful. The room is dated with some upgrades. The bed linens are
newer, with a narrow runner across the bed rather than a bedspread.
Unfortunately, there is only one thin blanket on the bed, so you must keep the
heat on during the night to stay warm. The heater in our room sounded like a 747
taking off when we first strted it up, but then ran quietly in the morning. The
waffle iron in the breakfast room was kind of fun to use.

This turned out to be a perfect place to stop between Seattle and Whistler
(leaving Seattle after work and not wanting to do the whole drive). We got a
very good rate on this hotel through this website. We expected only a regular
room but they gave us a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. Everything was
clean, there were 2 flat screen tvs, and the bathroom looked recently remodeled.
There was no traffic out of North Vancouver and the hotel was convenient to the
highway, so we were able to get to Whistler at opening. The breakfast was paltry
but motel breakfasts are never good (I never count on finding anything good or
filling), so I didn't hold that against them. They did have waffles, which you
make yourself.

Yes, for the money this hotel was excellent. The staff was very friendly and
helpful. The entire building was clean, as was our room. We would stay here
again. The location was close to Stanley Park, the suspension bridge, and Grouse
Mountain. There was a Greek restaurant just down Marine Dr. that I can't
remember the name of (it started with a "K") that we recommend as well. This
hotel added to our overall experience of Vancouver.

This hotel was good for the price and location. It was very close to downtown
and a convenient location for tourist attractions. The pool was small and the
continental breakfast was minimal but the rooms were clean. For the price, it
was just what we were looking for, but dont expect anything fancy.
