If you can get a good deal at this hotel, I would really recommend staying here.
It is a short ride in the seabus to
Downtown Vancouver . The
Lonsdale Quay Seabus
is right next to the hotel. The rooms are great; clean & spacious. The food
court located below is real treat if you like international cuisine. The small
stalls are great for crafts or souvenir shopping. Noise is not an issue as this
area closes in the late evening. There're also couple of restaurants in the
second floor or can access more by a short walk. Loved staying here!

Hotel is over the Lonsdale Quay Market, which made the stay more fun. Initially
I was concerned abut noise during sleeping hours, but absolutely no problems.
Lots of wonderful shops and restaurants just STEPS away. The VIEW is
spectacular. The accommodations were wonderful and staff was great. The hotel is
in North Vancouver (less congested than Vancouver)
and is next to the seabus that can take you across the Burrard bay to Vancouver.
The market is such a wonderful experience. I am so glad we chose this hotel.
Lots of great activity within steps of you hotel room. Another plus: free
parking.

My wife and I stayed at the
Lonsdale Quay Hotel for 4 days either side of a cruise to Alaska. Not
knowing Vancouver we trawled the internet looking for hotels and came across the
Lonsdale Quay Hotel. We liked the look of the location, the hotel rooms and the
idea of staying above a market intrigued us so we decided to give it a go. We
booked by phone, reserved a room with a water view and asked for directions to
the hotel using public transport from the airport as we planned to use public
transport whilst in Vancouver. Booking was easy, the receptionist very pleasant
and all was confirmed by e-mail including the directions. On arrival check in
was quick, the staff were very helpful, the room had a great view and we just
knew we were going to enjoy our stay and we weren't disappointed. We would
recommend this hotel and if we are lucky enough to visit Vancouver again the
Lonsdale Quay will be our hotel of choice.
Room Tip: Easy to get to from the airport on public transport, good choice of
food available in the market downstairs

I was in Vancouver for a conference, and was slightly nervous after reading some
of these reviews. Ok, so this hotel is not a luxury hotel, but for the price it
was a steal...the staff were fantastic and could not have been more helpful. The
room was lovely and overlooked the water (although we were kindly upgraded so
maybe not all rooms were like this) and had everything in it you could possibly
want. Massive bed, huge TV, free internet via a cable. Its location was the best
aspect; 30 seconds walk from the ferry terminal, 10 mins ferry ride to downtown
Vancouver. The market was lovely, lots of different food stalls and so much
nicer than the usual chain hotel.
Worth what we paid!

This place is a bit strange. it is like a hotel situated in a shopping mall.
That being said, it was ok. The room was average, there is a small gym. The
pictures on the website make it seem way better than it actually is.
Don't go for the free breakfast, you can only order 1 thing on the menu...and it
has to be 2 eggs. You can't substitute anything, even something cheaper. It was
ridiculous. |
