This is in the Main Street/ Broadway area which is a 15 minute drive or 45
minute walk from the heart of downtown Vancouver . Main and Broadway Streets are
miles of unique stores and restaurants with very few franchise stores and made
for lots of interesting wandering.
Bus #19 takes you downtown anytime (usual stops along the way) and goes straight to Stanley Park where you can take the free shuttle all around the park or walk the waterfront back thru downtown.
Right next door to the hotel is a shopping mall with a liquor store, a drugstore, a supermarket and many other amenities (including a public library with transit maps).
Next door is the Salt and Pepper Grill, a great place for a lazy brunch or a
steak sandwich. Good service and reasonable prices.
