Coast Plaza Hotel Vancouver Guest Recommendations

Terrific view of Stanley Park and Beach. Location perfect for what we wanted, tennis and walks in Stanley Park, English Bay Beach and local neighborhood feel.  Found some great little restaurants just blocks away.

The view was nice of downtown. The location is great, a walk from English Bay, Stanley Park, water taxi and trolley tour stop. Also many good restaurants close by.

The room service meal was the best meal I had in Vancouver!

Has a gym access agreement with neighboring private gym, so effectively has one of the best equipped gyms ever seen by my uncle, who is a regular business traveler.

Take a bike ride ride around Stanley Park. I rented from Spokes on West Georgia Street. The rental was only around $9. If you visit Vancouver and the weather is even okay, take this bike ride all the way around Stanley Park. (Getting around Stanley Park in Vancouver BC ).You will not be disappointed! It is THE most spectacular bike ride I've ever been on. The ocean views are spectacular!

We were able to hire bikes nearby and explore Vancouver under our own steam - this was great.
 

The neighborhood is trendy with a tons of restaurants on Denman ( Malaysian, Mongolian BBQ, Sushi, Fish and Chips, Korean, French and so on ...) It is also a residential area which makes up for a nice vibe

The Coast Plaza is very well situated, very close to English Bay Beaches and just a walk of 10 min away of fashionable Robson Street and Downtown Vancouver.

If you don't have a view from your room go to the guest laundry in the 26th floor...the view is terrific!

Restaurants are everywhere on Denman street. The hotel elevator takes you directly to the mall level which has a Shoppers drug mart that opens 8am - 12pm, and a grocery store (Extra foods, like Loblaws, that opens 8am - 10pm).
