East meets West at Aberdeen Centre, an Asian-themed shopping mall and visitor
attraction located less than four miles from the hotel in the city of Richmond.
This vast, six-acre complex is home to more than 280 shops, restaurants, and
specialty stores catering to greater Vancouver's large Asian community.
Spa is lovely but pricey. Love, love, love this hotel!
Have to say, the food in the downstairs lounge was excellent, as were the
cocktails and the ambiance--very restful after a hard day of traveling!
Despite a full view of planes taking off and landing, there was no noise
whatsoever. My spouse also had a spa treatment during our stay, and enjoyed it
very much.
Tip: there is a reasonably well-stocked liquor store on the ground level of the
domestic terminal, in case one wants to enjoy a glass or two without paying the
higher markups a hotel would charge
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes away from Richmond Centre.
