Holiday Inn Downtown Guest Recommendations

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Very fresh fruit, great selection of cereals and yogurts. Nice crispy bacon and sausages complimented the scrambled eggs The make your own waffle maker was wonderful and the blueberries or strawberry toppings were a great addition.

The Holiday Inn and Suites in downtown Vancouver, BC is located conveniently to restaurants, museums and shopping.

The location is convenient there is easy connection to streetcars, buses, and we walked to Granville Island, China Town, Gas Town and Canada place very easily from here.

It's OK, safe and comfortable

One good thing is the Airport Shuttle stop is round the corner. There is free wireless internet

Within walking distance to parts of Robson and all of Granville, which is perfect for the nightlife and tons of restaurants. There wasn't much need to drive anywhere for anything.

Hotel is located within walking distance to Davie St, Robson Street and the waterfront.

We ate one night at the Kettle of Fish - very good, but surprisingly unfriendly staff (our experience is that almost all other Canadians we have encountered have been very pleasant). Another night we ate in the wonderful Delilah's which is a very nice walk of about ten blocks through residential streets - it was such a nice walk that we walked both ways, even though we were tired from walking all day sightseeing. The great cocktails and superb meal at Delilah's, not to mention the wonderful service, really bucked us up.
