We found the lunch buffet at Salam Bombay 755 Burrard (few minutes walk) very
good and only 15 dollars. Also Takis Taverna 1106 Davie St (about 20 minutes
walk) is excellent if you like Greek food - good value, great atmosphere and
huge kleftiko - very popular, sometimes have to wait for a table. For authentic
Dim Sum take the Canada Line Skytrain to
Aberdeen Station and the
Aberdeen Centre (a mall in an area referred to as Richmond!) for lunch at one of
the restaurants there.
It is close to Stanley Park i, Coal harbour, shopping and restaurants. There is a quaint Italian restaurant next to the hotel, the ambiance and food was very good There is a free shuttle to some of the attractions like the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Also the subway station is right next to the hotel, proved to be very convenient for transportation to and from the airport (take the blue/Canada line). It is centrally located downtown and has a mall attached with a food court a floor below . We ate at the food court a few times and the pizza at Flying Wedge was great...Tims is located on site and also a McDonalds as well. Recommend the spa which was great and just off the hotel. Also recommend
Comedy Mix comedy club 4-5 blocks up the road, they put on a great show
and it was very reasonable. |
