Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Guest Recommendations

Vancouver > Hotels > Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel

Tip: Recommend taking the Canada Line (Subway) from the Vancouver Airport to the Marriott -- cost is $2.50 ($30+ for taxi) and it is a very easy 5-7 minute walk from the train station (Waterfront) to the hotel. We visited the area (rented from Alamo and their location is 5 minute walk from hotel) and saw Whistler and Stanley Park.

The location is great-just a block from the Olympic Cauldron, short walk to Robson Street for great shopping and food.

We recommend Sanafir (very lively; multinational cuisines), Jules (cozy; French bistro) and Rain City Grill (On the pricey side, but worth it) for dinner. They were all excellent restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

I suggest you take a zodiac tour while there with the "Prince of Whales" tour company. They offer a 3 hour whale and wildlife tour which was great

It was a really quick walk to the Vancouver Convention Center.

Regarding Vancouver restaurants, recommend Cardero's , Vij's and Chambar . All were great.

The Pinnacle is a great hotel with an excellent location for Downtown Vancouver  and close to Stanley Park .

Location is not bad for the new traveler to Vancouver, with a visit to Gastown  and North Vancouver via the Seabus Terminal both in short walking distances.

For those shredders, the Sea Bus terminal is your first step to Cypress, Grouse Mountain and Seymour skiing.
