Beyond is a new addition to the Century Plaza Hotel. It is a contemporary, urban
spot that combines Manhattan panache with West Coast flair to offer a menu of
interesting and unique dishes.A great place to meet if you are planning on

The food philosophy at beyond is one of inclusive not exclusive. The style is
next generation contemporary, where the world is a spice rack but the market
garden is next door. The flare is exemplified two ways; taking classic
favourites and making them new and irresistible or inventing, using unique
combinations and bold presentation to add intrigue and panache to the plate.
beyond flirts with the edges of the Pacific Rim, taking as its heart the local
flavours of the earth, sun and sea of British Columbia. The menu circumnavigates
the Pacific pulling in the simple punchy food trends of Australia, with a strong
nod to the inventive healthy "spa" style of eating for which BC has become
famous. Hints of Asia and India drift subtly across fish and fowl, while
heartland Canada is not overlooked as the kitchen is "farm-supplied" with a
strong focus on organic and seasonal.
