Great Food & Amazing View
Heard about the Chilli House but never went before. A co-worker said it's good
for celebrations as it's upscale. A whole group of us went for a friend's b-day
and we were impressed. The view was amazing where we sat and it made you love
Vancouver even more. We tried a whole bunch of dishes including their house
black cod which had a great tasty signature sauce with basil. We were all major
curry lovers so we had the Panang curry as well as traditional Thai red and
green curries respectively.
We chose chicken, beef and ostrich, and made it more of a pot luck so we
could all sample from each other's dishes. It was a fun night overall. For
dessert, we had basil ice and green tea ice cream, and fried banana and mango
ice cream. What a great way to end off a tasty meal as the desserts were light
and refreshing. Overall, I'd recommend the Chili Club but not just for
birthdays. I wouldn't wait one year to go there. Actually, we all agreed to go
again every month at least and do some people watching, It's a great place to go
for the ambiance and food for sure. |
