Was here for a friends birthday.
There were 11 of us and we sat at a large table in the back area of the
restaurant.
Now.. this isn't a place for the faint hearted. It's a face paced upscale venue
with a menu that caters to meat lovers. I love steaks and I don't get so many
chances to splurge on them as I'd like so I was looking forward to this meal.
So I ordered the Tenderloin and calamari to start. The calamari in my opinion
wasn't worth the money. It was tasty but the portion was ultra small. The
tenderloin was very good. Perfect the way I like it at Medium rare.
Most of the party enjoyed the food except for a very picky few and I left there
satisified. It's not Gotham / morton's expensive and they've found a little
niche in between the quality of the Keg and the bigger steakhouses.
I like the decor and it reminded me of the Earl's on hornby but not as busy and
young.
I'd definetely come back but my current income as a student tells me not anytime
soon even though I'd love to.
Great steak, good drink .. maybe up the value on the appetizers and we have a
pretty good place to watch the games and have a fun night of chillin and
partying here. |
