 The
Refinery is a Charcuterie based, market fresh style eatery and wine bar and
downtown Granville Street’s newest and most exciting restaurant.
Concentrating on artisan cured meats, pates, terrines, cheeses, seafood dishes
and sharing platters, Chef Michael Carter also bows to business partners Ray and
Peter’s European backgrounds with antipasto and tapas plates. A revolving
selection of warm items are seasonal and market driven.
Behind the bar a large selection of wine by the glass, champagne and bubble by
the bottle and classic and original cocktails are offered along with boutique
bottled beers. With a goal toward maintaining a sustainable friendly wine list
with regional products and organic selections The Refinery partners plan on
keeping the wine list selection at least fifty percent British Columbian.
