Reviews of the Four Points Sheraton Vancouver Airport
Hotel

The first time I have every stayed at a 4 Points property, but as a
Starwood member, I decided to use my points for one week here, and was
extremely satisfied with everything. As a seasoned traveler, living
abroad and out of a suitcase most of the year, it filled all my needs
from a wonderful clean room with refrigerator and open windows, to very
polite staff, a warm fireplace and Internet in the lobby, and a good
restaurant with a lovely breakfast and meals served also for lunch and
dinner. The hotel is totally non smoking and it is near a mall and
dozens of Asian restaurants. The Manager, Gary, made sure that I was
satisfied and was extremely cordial. I will definitely stay here again
when I return to Vancouver.

I found this hotel to be inconvenient for my situation. When we were
traveling with our 11 month-old in March, most of the hotels we stayed
have microwave if you requested for one. Four Points has no microwave,
except for the front desk. Secondly, they charged us $10 for a mini
fridge, which I found it to be quite ridiculous. I would advise parents
traveling with babies to seek your stay elsewhere.

I decided to try this hotel because it offered free in-room high-speed
wi-fi, free airport shuttle, 100% smoke-free hotel, is a 10-minute walk
from the Lansdowne Skytrain station, and was an good nightly rate of
$109 plus tax.
The hotel is located in Richmond close to all the Chinese restaurants
and malls on and around No. 3 Road. Not much to say about the immediate
scenery. My schedule was flexible enough that I could take the 20 minute
Skytrain ride to downtown Vancouver for $3.25 each way (A $9 day pass is
a good option if you plan on using the various convenient public
transportation options.) Trains are frequent and easy to navigate.
All of the front desk staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and
exemplify excellent customer service. I interacted with four different
front desk people during my stay. The hotel and my room were spotlessly
clean, the bed was very comfortable, the in-room temperature control
system worked well and wasn't noisy. I was in room 526, which faces a
high traffic road. The operable window (love that I can get fresh air)
seals out all road noise so it's very quiet with the window shut.
There's a free bottle of water and coffee maker with tea or coffee
options. Excellent shower with an adjustable spray Speakman shower head,
fluffy towels (better than the thinning ones I got at the Hyatt on
Burrard Street two week earlier), hairdryer, and your basic bath
amenities.
I would definitely stay here again at this room rate

The best value quality ratio in Richmond
Always good service, impeccably clean, comfortable and secure. Dozens of
great dining choices within walking distance as well as plenty of
shopping also nearby.

Excellent hotel for airport layover
Needed a hotel for an airport lay-over. The Four Points more than filled
the bill. I would (and probably will) use this hotel again on other
stop-over's. The room was comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The
complementary hot breakfast came as a welcome surprise and was very
good. The shuttle service was free and very efficient. The staff were
excellent. Top marks all round.
