I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn as the staff is very frendly
and helpful..
I am especially impressed with Mary Rose the Manager on duty in the
daytime.
She is very friendly, helpful and a joy to be around.
Adam at the front desk is also excellent !

Accommodations for Solo travel It is a little out of the way and not
easy to find if you are driving.
A no brainer if you are taking the shuttle to it from the airport.
The service and quality of room I got there was excellent. Staff were
very friendly and more that willing to help with little things. Luggage
tag, breakfast extras etc.
I like they offer hard and soft pillow choices in the rooms.
Seems they have learned from the comments. I had no problems with the
free wifi or other area of complaint documented here.
My only caveat is that the shuttle only runs every hour in stead of on
demand so don't miss it or you could be taking a cab to make your
flight.
I don' t know if this comment is allowed so please remove if not
acceptable.
The rack rates and best TripAdvisor special for this hotel is in the $90
range.
Hotwire offers a similar system to Priceline where you get up to %50 off
the regular price but have to purchase blind to find out which hotel.
So at least for hotels in the Richmond area for a quick stay, it is
worth the risk. I found the best deal through

Accommodations for Couples Pity the poor airport hotel. Rarely are
guests savoring a long-planned destination, clinking glasses of bubbly
and exclaiming to each other "I can't believe we're finally here!"
Instead, the hotel's job is to efficiently get customers a good night's
sleep on the way to or from the "real" destination. In our case, the
Holiday Inn Vancouver Airport was at a particular disadvantage as it was
where we laid our jet-lagged heads after an exotic month long luxury
trip through Asia to celebrate my 50th birthday. Bearing all this in
mind, I will hold this hotel to an appropriate standard and not compare
it to the five-star resort on Bali whose beds we last slept in before
returning to Vancouver.
The Holiday Inn is a little further from the airport than is ideal. We
spent a longer-than-hoped-for time standing in the sharp cold still
dressed in our tropical clothes while we waited about 45 minutes for the
shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The driver was friendly and
polite when he did arrive. Check-in was no problem, but when we rolled
up to the room and stuck our card into the lock we were startled to see
all the lights on and other people's clothes in the closet. We hurriedly
backed away and returned to the front desk, where we were assigned
another room, which thankfully proved to be unoccupied. The rest of the
stay was uneventful. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was
comfortable, and there was a blackout shade to keep it dark, much
appreciated by the jet-lagged. The Fogg and Suds restaurant next door
served excellent comfort food which went a long way toward clearing our
heads back to North American time.

We were only there for one night. The hotel had an airport shuttle and
was reasonably priced, it was right for what I needed.
