The courtesy shuttle pick-up and drop off at the airport. The pick-up
driver let me struggle with three pieces of luggage by myself having
parked at the furthest distance from where I stood The early morning
driver to the airport on the other hand was very helpful. Comfy sleep
and reasonable price..
The person at the desk on arrival was discourteous possibly for lack of
practice in English (unusual to deal with someone in his position who
does not say 'please' and 'thank you'). When I asked about charges for
long-distance calls, he said he didn't know. Worst of all, he did not
offer the luggage cart for use to the 3rd level room, so after a 10-hour
flight from Europe, I had to drag my 3 heavy pieces into the room alone.

I travel a lot & had stayed at this hotel about six years ago for one
night & had had an acceptable stay that's why I returned this time when
I had missed my flight. I was saddened & disappointed at how run downed
the the hotel had become. The hotel needs a complete renovation from top
to bottom. The rooms need to be completely cleaned including the walls,
carpeting & new bedding. The bathroom seemed clean though. The hotel
received a cheaply done paint job that just lowers the quality of the
place. I'm sad that I won't be going back. The service at the front desk
was also not the best. The only thing I appreciated was the free airport
shuttle service. The area has also declined tremendously even though
they have some high end hotels now surrounding like the Westin & Delta
which I will be trying next time.

Arrived late in Vancouver after a 10 hour flight and where happy that
there was a shuttle waiting at the airport to take us to this hotel. The
rooms are what you expect in this sort of hotel and they were really
clean. It is close to the airport and the shuttle is definitely an
advantage. Very helpful staff as well.

Basic, no-frill hotel in convenience location, with free airport shuttle
We stayed at comfort inn for 2 nights and are satisfied with the quality
of the hotel and room condition. It is a basic, no-frill room but clean
and comfortable. It is within easy walking distance to the nearest sky
train station and to the supermarket nearby. The free airport shuttle is
a bonus and it takes approx 10-15 minutes to the hotel from airport.
Will stay here again for the trip to Vancouver!

It took a long time for the front desk person to check us in. There were
two working and I chose the wrong guy. The other clerk, checked in 2
couples while I was waiting. Our reservation wasn't complicated by any
means.
I liked that fact that the hotel has fresh flowers all over the lobby.
Initially the smell of lilies was lovely, but then the smell that
they're trying to hide crept in. You know the smell.. old hotel.
My biggest complaint of this entire hotel chain is the old school
bedding they use. Get out of the 80's and get rid of the thin poly
comforters. Invest in a duvet and sheet cover.
The location was good because it was close to the casino (we stayed
there to see a show), has a cold/beer wine store downstairs, a nice
italian restaurant across the street and starbucks a stones throw away.
I would not stay here again. It isn't worth the price tag.

For the price we paid, comparing to the other hotels in the area, it was
fine...
The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were clean...That was all we
needed for a late check in and an early check out...The shuttle was a
big plus for us...

I really want to avoid cute or nasty comments and get right to the
point. In a lifetime of staying at hundreds of places -- from horrible
to mediocre to superb -- this place snuck up on me unexpectedly to earn
the title pof the absolutely worst place I have ever stayed. And don't
take my word for it, look at the other comments. It smelled. The rooms
were tiny and uncomfortable. The service at the desk late at night
seemed to purposefully, even defiantly, bad. No help with anything. No
acknowledgement by clerk that I was a living being.
Simply vile.
May I never, ever say to myself: "Well, how bad could any place be for
one night?"
The answer is so simple I am embarrassed to admit it:
Bad. Very bad. Unimaginably bad.
Whoever runs the Comfort Inn brand and approves places for the brand
must drop whatever they are doing and get to Vancouver immediately.

We had a very early flight out of the airport - needed a shuttle
at 4AM. This was the only one we could find info on, at their
website. That was about the only major plus - rooms were very
basic, a little bit of a strange smell, leftover towel from
prior occupant, but the bed was fine. Basically, good if you
want a very basic hotel w/ airport shuttle.
