Guest Reviews of the Delta Vancouver Airport

I have actually stayed at this hotel a number of times. This is one of
our companies favored hotels for business travel.
The hotel itself is a little tired looking. The beds (in the regular
rooms) are neither very comfortable nor uncomfortable. The room itself
was very small. I would not enjoy it with a family for more than one
night. They do not provide free internet which really, in this day and
age, I expect from all hotels I stay at for business.
If you sit in the lobby you will have access to the internet.
They have a little shop in the lobby for anything you have forgotten and
it has reasonable prices.
The main reason to go back is that the staff is EXCELLENT. They seem to
go out of their way to make you happy.
The staff in the restaurant really pay attention to your needs. The
concierge and shuttle drivers are very helpful and if they can will even
make detours or special trips for your group. Everyone always asks you
how you are doing and if you need anything when they see you.
One night the shuttle driver drove us to the casino because we had just
missed the free shuttle. I've also heard they will drive you to near by
restaurants and shopping if they have a free moment. We really
appreciated that.
On check-in, I was offered to upgrade to a better room with a king size
bed, an upgraded bed and free internet. It was just 20$ above the rate I
was paying and I think would have been well worth it. Unfortunatly, I
was not able to accept this offer.
The gym is small but I think very adequate and as a plus it has a great
view. The pool is outdoors so I was not able to enjoy it this time.
There are two restaurants on site. I did use one of them for breakfast
on both mornings. They have a great buffet (hot or cold). You can also
choose items off a menu but it's just as expensive as the buffet. They
give you To-Go cups for your coffee at the end and bottled water if you
ask.
The other restaurant I did not use. The menu itself seemed interesting
and not overly expensive. You can easily walk over the bridge a nice
seafood restaurant as well.
The walls are thin, bring earplugs as people start moving about around
3AM. I am not a light sleeper but I still used them as I could easily
hear everything my neighbors were doing.
All in all a good place to stay for a night or two.

I have been a regular client at this property for over ten years. The
staff consistently provide me with an accommodation experience that I do
not experience elsewhere in my travels throughout Canada. The service is
consistent and there are no surprises. Anytime I request assistance with
ANYTHING the service is provided with a cheerful "My Pleasure". When you
experience the service this team provides, it will become the benchmark
for your future accommodations.

I have stayed at the Delta Vancouver Airport on numerous occasions, and
they have consistently surprised me with the excellence of their
service, their spotless rooms (with very comfortable beds) and their
buffet breakfast, which is outstanding. Their Pier 73 restaurant is also
a fine place to dine, with nice views over a marina. This hotel is not
the most expensive near the airport, but it's definitely the best, no
matter what the price.

Nice Bathroom, free parking over a 2-week period while our family went
on a trip to Mexico; with complimentary shuttle service. Great location:
within minutes of the airport. We stayed one night so we had planned on
watching a movie through my laptop connected to the flatscreen, once we
found out the hotel was equipped with HDTV's. The hurdle we'd have to
get over was a ppv service would prevent the input sources from being
switched over to HDMI for movies on my laptop. After a few minutes of
fiddling around I just yanked the internet/phone line looking cable- I
then could connect to the HDMI input source! ... Had an early morning
and woke up with a few red marks on a few of us. I don't want to accuse
them of anything but I am definitely questioning the possibility of
bedbugs- would love to stay again for my next airported trip; but the
red marks leave me wondering if I should?
Free parking and shuttle service were the main positives in this hotel.
