The inn looks old and not very well maintained.
Was very put off by a suspicious big patch of brown stain on the divan
of one of the beds... Don't they have the common sense to remove the
stain??
Saw a blue rubber band on the floor... probably from the previous
guest.. and on the vanity kit basket, I found a strand of hair which is
not the same as our hair colour... It just goes to show how thorough
their housekeeping is.
I couldn't fall asleep for the first 2 nights as I did not feel
comfortable with the place. Wont recommend this inn...

Even though they market themselves as 'quality hotels', this Accent Inn
is nothing more than a basic motel. Rooms are rather outdated and
equipped with only the very basic amenities. Service varies - some
employees are great but others do you a favor in assisting you. The
location is too far from the city to spend a few nights at (over 30
minutes drive) and a bit too far from the airport. Noise from both the
nearby highway and the takeoff of airplanes is an issue as well - I
wouldn't say that it's loud, but you can hear both clearly.
Overall - unless you are tight on budget you'd better pay a little more
and get a better place.

Although a little further from the airport than some (20 mins, by
slightly scary shuttle bus), Accent Inn was "completely fine". Perfectly
clean, reasonably spacious, kids loved the adjoining IHOP (which opened
for jet-lagged breakfasters at 6.30). McD across the highway, though
nothing else in walking distance. Tiny whirlpool was out of action; gym
had I think 3 pieces of equipment, and if the bedspreads hadn't been
that awful nylon, the whole thing would have rated higher. Shuttle bus
will also drop off at nearest Skytrain stop (though you have to go all
the way out to the airport skytrain stop to be brought back - which was
adequate). Vancouver is v expensive though (more to do with the exchange
rate to £) and a week later we stayed at a Days Inn nearer the train
station, which was way more expensive, for a much smaller room (only
just bigger than the 2 Queen beds which our family needed), with a
shower only, not bath and involving lots of stairs. We should have gone
back to the Accent Inn, as the Amtrak bus (which replaced the train to
Seattle that day) picks up from the next-door hotel on its way south.
Free wifi, and a PC in reception and washing machines for guest use.
Would definitely stay there again.

I've always stayed at the Accent Inn when I have to overnight near
Vancouver airport, but I don't know if I'll do it again. I got in at
about 1:00 a.m. & the room reeked of stale tobacco even though it's
supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. I was too tired to do anything about
it so put up with it. The next morning, the elevator didn't work. Not
too funny when you've got a heavy suitcase and a plane to catch. When I
told the desk clerk about it she was pleasant enough, said I could have
gotten a different room if I had asked but who wants to do that at 1
a.m.? The rates are good and the room was otherwise clean and
functional. The place was nice and quiet. But next time I'll spend a few
more bucks and hopefully get a room that doesn't stink and an elevator
that works.

Stayed one night arriving on a late flight before picking up our hire
car the next day. The airport shuttle service to & from the hotel
operated well, the hotel was a little bit further from the airport than
expected. Basic accommodation, but comfortable and quiet, no breakfast,
an ok place spend one night in transit, we were probably only there for
8 hours in total.

Stopped here at end of transatlantic flight. Hotel amenities were good,
room clean and well furnished. The staff were so friendly and helpful!,
and the airport shuttle ran very smoothly - pickup from the airport was
really prompt. Would definitely recommend. The bed was quite comfortable
and we had a good nights sleep

I am a Canadian citizen, living in a Canadian town, making a reservation
for a Canadian city and when I booked on-line I got charged in US
dollars! Go figure ...
Check in was fast and efficient and our room was large, clean and well
stocked

Clean, great size room, all the amenities including an enclosed hot tub,
workout equipment and laundry. The price was right and included pick-up
from airport and taking to Skytrain.

A must stay place!!!!! The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The
rooms are clean and in good condition. Also a great place to stay if you
have a pet. I can't say enough good things about the Accent Inns. I
always stay at Accent Inn when in Vancouver or Victoria.
