Reviews of the Four Points Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel

This was the nicest four points Sheraton we've ever stayed at. The hotel
was very nicely decorated and the rooms were basic but well appointed.
Service was also very good - we forgot a pillow and they found it and
kept it for us to pick up another day. The location is also great. Very
close to the airport and tons of restaurants are a stones throw away.

Will stay here again..
As usual for the Four Points Sheraton, comfortable value priced stay
with good quality amenities.
Can’t wait to go back
Hotel service is good. Get around to shopping and eating are very easy.

A very reasonably price four points Sheraton, clean, comfortable with
excellent services and conveniently located for air travelers.

Very good value in Richmond
Convenient to YVR, nicely maintained property in the heart of Richmond’s
very Chinese area. Good service, very comfortable and well appointed
rooms.

Great fast check in, great shuttle service, got in late so didn't use
many of the services. However the bed was very comfortable and free
wi-fi makes me happy.
The rooms are dated but for our purpose were just fine, we would stay
again.

Stayed here for two nights before a road trip to Banff.
It was closed to a mall with everything Future Shop, kinkos.
Room was a little bit small, when fitting with two queen beds. Bathroom
was a little bit outdated. I like the free Internet but required to pick
up an internet code card before you can get access to the net. Each
device required an individual card.
It charged for local call and overnight parking. Just feel sad about it
when compared with last year stayed in Holiday Inn YVR, parking and
local calls were free, room was much more spacious.
Airport shuttle ran in half hour interval. Free coffee at the lobby in
the morning.

The previous reviewers were bang on, lots of ethnic dining, skytrain
nearby and airplane noise. Only a couple of blocks away from a nice
waterfront walk. Call for the airport shuttle, don't expect it to come
by on a regular schedule.

We stayed 3 nights at the end of our Calgary to Vancouver road trip. I
picked this hotel because we got a good deal which included free parking
and breakfast, which made the stay quite affordable. For once at an SPG
hotel, our gold status was actually recognized and we got a larger
corner room with a huge bathtub. It was one of only two bathtubs where I
could lie in and have my chest and privates covered (and I'm no
bodybuilder or Tommy Lee). The internet was also free and worked well.
Nice flat-screen HDTV. Fast elevators which require a room key to use.
We had a car so didn't use the airport shuttle. There is some airplane
noise on the top floor facing the airport, but nothing earplugs can't
handle for this light sleeper. Lots of Asian restaurants in the
neighborhood. The hotel restaurant is decent and certainly very fairly
priced, especially for a hotel restaurant. The Skytrain to Vancouver is
500 meters away, which we used for the day we visited downtown
Vancouver. Front desk was usually well-staffed and friendly. For the
price we paid, we were quite happy.

Location
This hotel is located on Alexandria street in Richmond, also known as
the "Food Street" to the Chinese living in Vancouver. Tons of Asian
restaurant on the street, from Korean BBQ next door, karaoke's, noodle
places, hotpot, Chinese lounges, tons and tons of Chinese restaurants.
For access to Chinese food, this hotel wins hands down.
Behind the hotel, you would find a Futureshop, Bestbuy, for electronic
junkies, as well as a liquor store, a Kinkos FedEx and McDonalds. For a
mere 10 mins walk and cutting through the Lansdowne Mall parking lot,
you would reach the Skytrain station.
Safety
During the daytime, the area looks pretty safe, and after midnight, you
might find alot of asian wannabe punks hanging around the alcohol
lounges. As stupid as they seem to look, the place still seems safe, as
tons of policemen seem to hangout in that area eating their late meals
at open-late restaurants.
