Whenever we go to Vancouver, whether it's for business or leisure, we
always stay at The Holiday Inn on Cambie Street in Richmond. The staff
is friendly and efficient, the rooms are always spotless and the
location is perfect. We can get to anywhere in the Vancouver area
quickly and efficiently. The restaurant is decent and there are lots of
other dining choices nearby. Best of all the room rates are very fair
for the quality of lodging. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a night whilst touring Canada. Check inn was swift.
Bit of a pain having to use your room card every time you use the lift
and it didn't always work. System seemed a bit unreliable. We ended up
with 5 different room cards after reprogramming etc. My biggest negative
was the Wifi in the room did not work. The receptionist told me to ring
a number which I spent half an hour trying to get to the inevitable -
well I'm sorry sir, it is not working and still wasn't when we left. We
had to take laptop down to public lobby to sort our private business
out. Also the TV was poor quality with a very grainy picture. Would stay
again but these few things just spoilt it a little. Would not stay out
of choice.

To put it plainly, my engagement ring was stolen from my hotel room
while i stayed at this hotel. I was flying out the next day so time was
of the essence. The hotel staff checked the vacuums and asked the
cleaning staff. Nothing turned up so they basically said "the end." They
completely ignored the elephant in the room which was that SOMEONE ON
THEIR STAFF TOOK MY RING. I never heard anything from them after I flew
out the next day. Completely unacceptable hotel and I will never stay
there EVER again which truly means something since we travel to
Vancouver several times a year for prolonged stays.

I am very sorry to hear that you lost your ring while on a trip to
Vancouver but I can assure you that it was not stolen as you claim while
you were at my hotel. The associate that cleaned your room is a very
long term associate that takes pride in her job and is 100% honest and
trustworthy. she has worked with us for many years and would never do
what you are accusing her of. I am glad to hear that we checked
everywhere possible to see if we could find your misplaced ring and I am
sorry to hear that nothing turned up. Perhaps you want to check with
other places you visited while in Vancouver.

We stayed at this hotel on a family vacation in the Vancouver Area. We
chose this location as it was very near our friends' home. They have
friendly front desk staff.
The room was clean and modern. The chaise was a neat addition as it's
very convenient when you are with your laptop or just watching TV.
Our stay didn't include any breakfast however, there's a McDonald's
beside the hotel so it wasn't a problem.
There's not much anything around the hotel as far as shops or
restaurants however, since we had a rent a car, we were able to get
around.
There is free high speed internet and a business centre in the lobby
with a computer where you can print.
I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise to
Alaska. We needed to print new boarding passes and luggage tags since
there had been last minute changes. The computer and printer they had
available for guests were out of order. They wouldn't do it for me in
theirs either. In the morning the power went off for hours in part of
the hotel. They said it was a power failure in the area, but everything
else around the hotel, including traffic lights and other hotels, had
power. For hours it was dark and hot. No TV, clock, hairdryer, etc. Upon
checking out, we expected some kind of apology like We're sorry for the
inconvenience, or maybe some kind of discount, but we got nothing. They
may not give you what they offer, but they sure charge you for it. We're
not the type that goes and complain or demand refunds, we just simply
don't ever go back.
