We stayed overnight twice - before and after a cruise. We had an
enjoyable dinner the first evening. Ran in to trouble trying to arrange
our boarding passes. Free internet access would have been nice,
but....We had to leave before the shuttle started the morning run - no
problem - were given a taxi voucher.
Returning, we arrived after the last shuttle - no problem. On our
previous visit we had been told to get a receipt for the taxi, so the
fare was reimbursed. Our body time was 3:30 a.m. The desk clerk set up
the wake-up call for us on her initiative - a nice gesture. Staff for
the breakfast service was upbeat and helpful - a great way to start the
morning.
When we left we asked the doorman to call a cab for us. When we told him
we were headed for the seaplane terminal at YVR - out comes another taxi
voucher.
A clean, comfortable hotel with a pleasant, helpful staff. It will be
our first choice on our next trip.

We just had 2 nights here before flying back to Australia after spending
2 weeks traveling BC..Was not expecting much, so happily surprised..
Clean hotel, really nice, helpful staff.. Our deal included breakfast,
which was really nice, even if you were paying it was very reasonable
compared to other hotels..

We have stayed at Delta Vancouver Hotel many times. Found the staff very
accommodating, and our rooms met our expectations. Should there ever be
a concern we were looked after and even received a call from the hotel
manager, Amrit. There is a connecting Pub/Restaurant Pier 73 that has a
great view of a Marina & River with a out side deck. Menu has changed
for the better and reasonable. Last stay in Jan. 2011 we were up graded
to a Delux Room with fruit and spacious room over looking the water and
the bed was very big and comfortable. Hot apple cider in the lobby. Bus
is free and runs every 20minutes to your exit at the Vancouver Airport.
Hotel has a great restaurant and lounge for all your needs. Join the
Club class and no wait at check in! Gerry

Couples We checked in on Christmas day and were presented with a present
and a card. The hotel was booked through Priceline and the clerk told us
it was for 2 beds and would we prefer a queen with a marina view or a
king with no view. My husband wanted the king but I said I preferred the
view. What a nice surprise to be offered a free upgrade to a king bed
with a beautiful view of the marina.
Everything in the room worked. The shower was great, bed and pillows
comfortable. There was an iron and ironing board in the room. The rooms
were all refurbished for the Olympics so everything is still fresh
looking.
Parking was $14 a night. that was a shock but probably the going rate
for Vancouver. Also no mini bar in room.
The staff were great. Breakfast was expensive but since there is nowhere
else to eat nearby we ate in the hotel. No complaints about the food.
They went out of their way to provide soy milk for my husband and the
waitress went and brought him homemade jam for the toast rather than the
little package that were on the table.
This is a good hotel for an overnight near the airport. We had family
nearby that we were visiting and it was a good location for getting to
Richmond and into Vancouver. I would recommend it most for those using
the airport but not as a tourist hotel.

We stayed for one week at the Delta Vancouver Airport in Richmond over
the holidays. We had a clean room with a comfy king bed. The location
was great for us because we arrived early and left really early on the
day of check-out.
A few disappointments:
- no safe in room
- pay parking
- room was cold
