Guest Reviews of the Ramada Inn Vancouver Airport

I will never stay at the Ramada Ltd. in Richmond, BC
ever again. On the website it said they have luggage
storage service and they don't. Any other hotels in
Richmond, BC will store your luggage while you are out
of Canada on your trip, for as long as you're gone. Not
the Ramada Ltd. I had to pay $75. for storage fees at
the airport. Also I asked for a wake up call and never
did receive one. I talked to other guests and they also
didn't receive their wake up call that morning. Also
their shuttle bus shuts down at 11 pm, much too early. I
had to pay for a taxi which was suppose to be $10. and
it ended up to be over $15. The desk clerks were very
rude to me. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed here for 3 nights deciding to stay by the
airport instead of downtown Vancouver. The hotel was a
very good value for the price we paid and the location
to airport and the skytrain was also good. The room was
of a good size and clean. Bathroom was standard, clean
and had the standard amenities. My only comment is that
I wish there were more dining options closer to the
hotel. I would definitely stay here again if the price
continues to be very competitive with other hotels in
the area.

In August we drove from Kelowna, BC to Vancouver, abot a
4hr. drive. We wanted to do some sight-seeing for a few
days but didn't want to deal with city traffic or
parking fees. We chose the Ramada because it was away
from the city centre but within a ten-minute walk of
Canada Line the new rapid transit system which connects
the airport with city centre. The hotel had free
underground parking and hot scrambled eggs on the
breakfast buffet.

A Great Hotel for Budget Travel
This hotel is very clean and comfortable. For the price
you pay, it is pretty nice. The rooms are not big, but
they are kept clean. The bathroom is clean too, although
the light in ours kind of flickered whenever we turned
it on. The hotel is pretty quiet even though the walls
are thin. We weren’t disturbed in our sleep by any noise
coming from outside or inside the building. It is
walking distance to the train station to get to downtown
Vancouver. The complimentary breakfast is generous. They
made scrambled eggs every day. There were fruits,
cereal, bread and drinks. One morning, they made these
giant waffles for people. Recommended to anyone
traveling under a budget.
