One would be really surprise at the quality of the food
at the buffet restaurant. It is neither Chinese style or
Western style. The chef must have be bad taste for food.
Roast beef is tough. All salad dressing are too sour.
The chef cannot even cook a corn on a cop properly. Go
try one time and you will find out how terrible. Don't
be fooled by the nice deco, the space and the lay out of
the restaurant. What a waste of the many favorable
conditions except for the awful food.

Just stayed at this hotel in a 2 Bedroom "Penthouse
Suite" and it was truly grand accommodation. I managed
to get a discounted rate of $599.00 plus taxes which
"made" it good value. The first night we did not get a
turn down service (Clean Towles etc etc) so i raised
this with reception the next evening when i raised my
concern about the food outlet (Buffet) and was told the
standard rooms do not get a service only the Penthouses
do, so i said i am in a Penthouse Suite and did not get
a service. They called housekeeping at 9:00pm and asked
them to service our room, which my son who was in the
room told me at around 9:30pm that they had just been,
so it would appear we were not even going to get a
service on the second night if i had not raised this
with reception. The other issue was the food outlets,
they are really sub standard / bad for this type of
property. I did raise this with the food and beverage
manager for his information, but i got the impression
this was not the first complaint he had received. This
hotel is also on Vancouver's International Airport
Flight Path and if you do not like aircraft flying
directly over your roof and i mean only meters away,
then this is not the place for you. I am an aircraft
buff so this was not an issue for me!!

Stayed here with my family visiting a friend, room nice
and clean. My children like the pool and the mini water
slide. We loved the casino on the sites, we are sure
coming back.

My Spouse and I booked this hotel through Hotwire for
two friday nights over two weeks.
I love the hotel even though we were too exhausted to
partake in the casino, shows or the pool. It is
comfortable & quiet and the location is a must for the
hotwire price when coming and going to the airport.
the only reason i did not make this stay a 5 star is
based on the hotel not having our hotwire reservation
and not wanting to honor it even though i had the
confirmation email. After an 8 hr flight and arriving in
the middle of the night this was not the greatest event.
However after several minutes they contacted hotwire and
we were given the last room in the hotel for that
evening.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you can get the
discounted fare.
