They have done a very good renovation but the polish is missing. For example, we
requested some wine glasses to be sent up to the room and were advised there are
no wine glass. What 3* plus hotel does not have some wine glasses on hand? Sure,
minor but small things like this keep this a 3* when it should be more.
Other reviews noted the issue with lack of AC. I suggest getting a room that
does not face west as our room was way too hot and required that we open our
door to get a cross draft.
Also, lots of highway noise and the Cathay Pacific flight that arrives and
departs at around 2am can be VERY loud depending on which way they are required
to land/take off. On two nights, this woke me up and sure enough, looked over to
my alarm clock and it read 2:50 am...the departure time for this flight to Hong
Kong from Vancouver.
Staff did deal with our child's blanket that the staff managed to take out with
a sheet change very well after a few attempts. although initially asked for our
CC to pay for sending the same although this was fixed very fast.
All in all, nice hotel, staff could go out of their way more than just doing the
minimum. Nothing close to 5* for this review.
Free parking was great!! Shuttle was great. Location was great. Pool was nice
and the waterslide was fun. Good restaurants around the area if you do not have
a car.
Compared with other hotels in the area, this is solid choice as there are some
dumps. I have stayed at the Hilton Airport, Delta Airport and Fairmont Airport
for your reference. Was going to stay at the Westin, however, the valet only
parking is a big thumbs DOWN.

We stayed here on the last night of a fly-drive. Reception staff were very
helpful and made the extra effort. Rooms were large and beds wonderful.
Breakfast service in Dennys was slow although we missed the rush.

Arrived Saturday, September 18th for one night to catch Sunday 5 day cruise on
NCL. All very pleasant, except Sunday morning when we were informed no room on
Hotel's recommended Shuttle to Cruise Terminal. We were not informed of the
booking status upon check-in, so had to secure cab at cost of around $50.00.
Room was perfect for the one night. Very modern furnishings, and good snack
available at "Chop" Restaurant for "take-out" to room. Denny's also adjacent to
Hotel.

Great clean hotel in Richmond. Very clean with free wifi and free outdoor
parking. However, there was no fridge in the room and the toilet moved when
sitting on it. The staff are very courteous and friendly. Great value for the
cost.

Reasonably priced, and conveniently located close to the Vancouver airport.
Stayed here for only one night, and the place did not make a great lasting
impression. The lobby feels cavernous and lacks charm and warmth. The view was
dreadful, and we were not able to connect to a supposedly free internet; in
spite of the valiant effort on the part of the staff. We had both dinner
(dreadful) and breakfast (ok) at Denny's located next door. Give yourself enough
time when leaving as the shuttle was late. If we would not take a taxi we would
have missed our international flight. We also waited a long time for the shuttle
to be picked up from the airport.
