The Richmond Oval is a new facility built for the
2010 Winter Games by the The City of Richmond.The Oval is located on the banks of the
Fraser River, in the northwest corner of Richmond, it is across the river from
Vancouver International Airport and near the Richmond city centre. |

Richmond Oval Legacy

After the Games, the Oval will become an international
centre of excellence for sports and wellness. The Oval’s flexible design will
allow it to be used for a variety of sport and community functions. The Oval
will be the centrepiece of a major new urban waterfront neighbourhood featuring
the multi-use facility an provide an active venue that harmoniously brings
together summer and winter sports, recreation, culture, business and environment
in one pristine location
