Holiday Inn Vancouver airport is a great hotel with friendly service. I
would stay here again. The airport shuttle was convenient and the driver
was very friendly. A Great rep for their hotel.

I was quite happy. My room was clean but the ice machine was right
outside my door; thirsty people used it all night long. The hotel is
located in the middle of nowhere, with only two choices for dining. The
mattress was soft and I woke with a sore back. The final insult. and a
complete surprise, was the charge for local phone calls! I won't be
back.

I decided to risk the Expedia unpublished rate route where you don't
find out the name of the hotel until you book it; after I completed the
transaction and then found out which hotel it was, I was quite happy.
But when I read the fine print and discovered the $8 per night parking
fee, the deal became less attractive. My room was clean but the ice
machine was right outside my door; thirsty people used it all night
long. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, with only two
choices for dining. The mattress was soft and I woke with a sore back.
The final insult. and a complete surprise, was the charge for local
phone calls! I won't be back.

Holiday Inn could never be accused of being unique, but staff really
make this particular franchise a special place to stay. Whether it was
the considerate airport shuttle driver, or overly cheerful "Wally" at
Reception, the housekeeping staff who searched and came up with an old
copy of the Globe & Mail for me, or the serving staff at the Fogg ‘n’
Suds, everybody we encountered seemed to love their responsibility to
make our stay pleasant and relaxing.

“perfect hotel and location for a long stay”
Amazing service, them front desk staff is top notch. You get food
vouchers for kids at Fogg N Suds for every meal. There's also a
McDonalds in the complex yet. Better yet, you're in Richmond, the most
ethnically diverse city in North America. - the cuisine is good, cheap
and authetic. Proximity to the YVR airport is also a plus
Area recommendations

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2011. We booked the
hotel blind from Hotwire and the prices including tax came out to be
about $210USD for 3 nights. We are extremely happy with this hotel and
its service, and we will definitely be back.
Check-in was a breeze. Parking requires a key card entrance, so check in
first before heading to the garage. Gated parking is $8/day plus taxes.
There are 2 floors for parking and the key card access wasn't the most
responsive. There were plenty of parking spaces during our entire stay.
Our room was on the 3rd floor near the elevator and it was spacious and
clean. We had a king size bed and a chaise and there was plenty of room
to walk around. The bedding was soft and comfortable and the soft and
firm pillows provided were much appreciated. We had no issues with in
room complementary wi-fi, although there were times when connection was
slow. The black out drapes were a nice surprise! And even though we were
close to the elevator, the hall noise wasn't really an issue. One of the
nights our neighbors were rowdy (sounded like they were playing drinking
games and banging on the walls), we called the front desk when they
persisted until 1:30am, and within 5 minutes, they quieted down. We were
very impressed with the efficiency of the hotel.
Bathroom was spacious and had a huge counter. Tub was a decent size and
the water pressure was just right. We made coffee with the coffee maker,
and the coffee bag the hotel provided wasn't so tasty. They also provide
2 bottles of water in the room for $2.50 each.
It would have been nice if there was a mini-fridge in the room. There
are about 40 channels on tv. Our room had an umbrella that we used
during our stay, so that was very nice. We had one robe in our room, and
we saw that other rooms had slippers as well. Not sure if that's in all
their rooms, or you have to request it. The gym is located on the 2nd
floor, and has 2 treadmills, 2 bikes and 1 elliptical machine. They
provide towels and water at the gym. Mcdonald's is right next to the
hotel. Great location to the Richmond area restaurants/shops. Aberdeen
center is only a 5 minute drive.
Overall, we had a very comfortable stay here and we highly recommend it.
