My husband and I stayed at this hotel last year and enjoyed our experience. On
our trip to Asia and due to an early morning departure flight we decided to stay
at the hotel and also use the 24 Hour Airport Shuttle. Once again the hotel and
service did not disappoint. The reasonable price, shuttle service, free wireless
and use of the lovely Steve Nash Sports Club made our stay very enjoyable. (Tip:
We watched Netflick movies on our laptop, which we plugged into LCD TV in the
room. The Wireless Speed is very good). The Room was very well maintained, clean
and smelled very nice. Being a picky person about smells and cleanliness I was
very impressed with the quality and standard of the rooms and could certainly
compare it with the Sheraton Hotels, but with much better customer service. Oh!
and another thing they also had welcome chocolates and bottled water in our room
when we arrived.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area and the reception staff will also
give you special discount vouchers for many restaurants. We decided to go to the
Casino and took the hotel shuttle bus and the hotel staff also gave us $5.00
each vouchers to play at the Casino plus two discount vouchers for the Buffett
at the Casino. Wonderful and well trained train. Also the hotel was very busy
but the staff was fast and gave us a room in a few minutes even though we arrive
early. We were allowed to park our car for free, they have lots of parking which
is clean and well lit found it very safe plus the security staff at night is
very helpful.
Room Tip: Use the hotel free shuttle bus service for the Airport or the Canada
Line Station. Hotel beautiful Gardens

We stayed here for two nights as we initially believed we'd be renting a car to
go to Whistler. The weather forecast changed that and we ended up at the Accent
Inn with a full day and no idea what to do. We turned to the front desk that
gave us directions on public transportation to several areas and we ended up
going to Steveston to see the old cannery and shipyards for the day and out to
Vancouver for the evening.
The room was two queens and a decent size room, although the bathroom was still
small. We were placed on the side away from the highway which was quieter until
the construction crew started at 8ish in the morning as there are still
renovations occurring. This wasn't a problem for us as we were up and on our way
to breakfast, but if you wanted to sleep in, that wouldn't have been possible.
The hotel provides free drop off to the airport and to the Bridgeport Skytrain
station which was very convenient to get into Vancouver. It is also only a block
away from the busses which will take you to and from Steveston. It worked out
very well for us.

If you want to visit and spend time in downtown Vancouver, this is not the place
for you. However, if you just need a place near the airport to spend the night
in, the Accent Inn is more than suitable and is very good value.
We stayed for one night between flights and it was very good. A free shuttle is
provided to and from the airport, which was very fast and efficient. The
personnel at the front desk were kind and familiar. The room was clean, quiet,
functional and spacious…and it cost much less than the other hotels near
Vancouver airport.
As a bonus, there was also free wi-fi in the room and a flight check-in kiosk in
the lobby.
Overall, if I wanted to spend time in downtown Vancouver or spend 2 weeks in the
area, I would choose a place downtown. But, if I ever have to overnight between
flights at Vancouver airport again, I will definitely go back to the Accent Inn.

I have lived in and travelled to Vancouver frequently over the past 35 years.
The hotel access is difficult as it sits adjacent to, but is not accessible to
Highway 99. The hotel is under renovation and desperately needs updating as it
is worn out and dirty. The Junior suite we were provided was the same size as a
regular room with a small fridge squeezed in. Washroom was tiny. I was
travelling with my daughters and booked the suite for the additional room, but
they just charged $35.00 more. It had a musty odor that in the middle of the
night I realized must be from pets that "used" the room. I did not take my shoes
off. The free parking advertised is at a premium as they rent out space to
airport travellers. It has been a few years since I last stayed here and will
not be returning. Go someplace else.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a great experience,
this time was no different in spite of the renovation going on. Parking was
difficult late at night, as far as parking right outside my room, but always a
spot a short distance away. This hotel is very central to anything you want to
do in Richmond, Vancouver or Surrey There is an Ihop restaurant right beside
hotel which serves all three meals

My family grew up in Richmond but dispersed to other areas of Canada and the US.
Recently we lost a daughter/mother/sister/wife/friend and had to deal with the
logistics of a 'service' site and setting. A family friend mentioned this Hotel
as an idea because of it's location to 'home-ground', highway, ferries and
airport. Initially we didn't see this as an option but with further thought and
investigation, we chose this venue.
What we experienced was something we may not have received just anywhere! A very
sympathetic and attentive response to our needs. We needed many rooms (some with
kitchens and sitting areas) hopefully clustered together; a decent breakfast
venue close by; restaurant/bar in walking distance; reliable catering service;
and a room to transform into a meeting/greeting/celebrate and grieve in.
It was a tall order but we got it. And more! The hotel staff gave us a range of
information of services needed, shops to 'go to'; they re-worked the 'room' to
allow us to use it for our special means. This amazing, lovely Sales Manager
organized all our catering needs and even brought in table-top potted plants for
the reception room (Thank you Kim!). They also provided the technology and
equipment to perform our video feats, and then cleaned it all up so that we
could continue our journey. Our family is so happy with the choice of venue, it
was perfect.
I feel anyone could use/enjoy this facility because the management seems 'to
get' that it's clients aren't cattle requiring a short or longer stay but
individuals, families, and groupings of people in the middle of a journey that
sometimes need flexibility and humanity attached to their stay.
One regret, I didn't bring my bathing suit to soak in the hot-tub!
