Staff at front desk never smiled at any customers. Could improve customer
relations.
I was using RV for a long trip and this was my last night before departure back.
So I needed an hotel close to the airport after returning the RV
Comfortable, clean and convenient.

I was a quite disappointed with this hotel as we had booked for 3 and when we
arrived they gave us a room that only slept 2. Then they moved us to a room that
would accommodate 3, but in that room the toilet was plugged. We arrived fairly
late in the evening and we were very tired so it was not the best welcome to
this hotel. Probably would not stay here again or recommend to anyone else.

Curb appeal and lobby is not too pleasing, however we were pleasantly surprised
when we got to the room. Room is comfortable, clean, but small. There is an
in-room coffee-maker, tv and free wifi. Good hotel for the price. Public
transportation and a shopping center is within 10 - 15 minute walking distance,
location is quite a distance from other sites however. Hotel has free airport
shuttle.

Horrible place. Decor is from the 70's . Mildew in the shower. Carpet and room
spelled. funny. The pictures on the website are not the pictures of the actual
hotel. Would never tell anyone to stay here. Not a place for kids. My children
were scared. The hotel looks like it was on an episode of COPS when they do the
prostitution busts. The ceiling looked brown and disgusting. Not full remodeled
like it says. Place is a JOKE! Rude people at the desk.

First off you have to PAY for parking, like get real. The hotel is very damp and
musty, be prepared to wash all clothes when you get home even if you didn't wear
them just to get the smell out. Also opening the restaurant for all meals not
just breakfast would go a long way.

We just stayed at the Hotel this past weekend and found the staff to be
very helpful and the hotel itself was wonderful. Very impressed with the
entire weekend

We stayed here overnight from our trip back from Mexico, our rate was
$57 + taxes and I was really surprised how clean and comfortable the
room was. The beds were excellent. Nice Italian Restaurant just across
the street, has cold beer & wine store and a place for breakfast in the
morning. Will definitely stay there again.

I would never stay in this hotel again and will not likely ever stay in
any Clarion Brand hotels based on this experience. When I arrived their
was not a line but when I walked to the desk the clerk acted as if I was
bothering him and checking me in was an inconvenience. After check-in
there was no direction to my room, no offer of assistance with airport
shuttle....nothing. It went from bad to worse. When I got off the
elevator on the 3rd floor I was greeted with a musty smell mix ed in
with a smell of a place that has not been cleaned in some time. The
hallways were long, confusing and poorly lit. When I arrived at my room
and opened the door I was greeted with more unpleasant smells like the
room had no ventilation. I immediately cranked up the A/C which had no
directions on temperature control so I froze under the "thread bare"
sheets and comforter. The television was not working so when I called
down to the front desk the same gentleman said, "The controls are
sensitive, you have to be gentle, I know you can do it," treating like I
was 5 years old. Finally, I asked him to come look at the television.
When he arrived and realized it was not working properly he accused me
of tampering with the equipment and "there is nothing I can do if you
tampered with the television." When I confronted him on this accusation
he tried to deny it, I promptly asked him to leave the room. The only
redeeming qualities were although the room was extremely out dated, it
appeared the housekeeper had been very thorough in cleaning the bathroom
and I was only in the hotel for 8 hours waiting for a very early flight.
Also, the front desk person in the morning was much nicer. Unfortunately
they do not explain on their website the free hotel shuttle goes to
another hotel first and fills up quickly; some people had to take a cab
to make their flights.
Under no circumstances would I EVER recommend this hotel and I will not
be staying in any Comfort Inns again.

Stayed there as a stop-over package on my way down south and could not
believe the service!
We arrived at night with a family of five and weren't even acknowledged
upon our arrival-with three kids we are hard to miss. Then when we got
their attention they wanted to dispute the reservation price booked over
the phone. They promised us 2 weeks free parking which they did not have
and weren't very sorry for. We ended up parking by their beer and wine
store in an undesignated spot-which caused worry on our vacation
expecting to coming home to a smacked vehicle (we didn't have a choice
at this point). Then receiving our keys we weren't instructed on how to
get to our room or enjoy your stay or when the airport shuttle arrives
in the morning!! We were dismissed as being an inconvenience!! just
don't give them the business as there as much nicer and cleaner hotels
in Richmond with good stop over rates.
