My mid-June unplanned overnight at The Vancouver Airport Fairmont Hotel
was a blessing! The receptionist, Kelly, made me feel so welcome, and
directed me to an unbelievably comfortable suite. King bed, spacious
washroom with tub and separate gorgeous shower.
Once settled in, I used my laptop with excellent back-up Wi-Fi service,
and then had a wonderful, comfortable drink and nibble in the
late-evening bar, served superbly by Stephanie. She made me feel so
special, as did all the staff.
If you are to stay overnight near Vancouver Airport, you will make the
best-ever choice if you select the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel. It's wise
to join the no-fee "President's Club" and book ahead online. You'll get
excellent accommodation and terrific service!

Stayed here overnight on our way to Scotland.
The whole experience was first rate.
Right from the greeting we received on arrival to our departure.
Room was lovely overlooking the runway complete with telescope for plane
spotting.
Very convenient getting down to the departure area.
My wife had a pedicure and said the service she got was fantastic.
Could not think of a better way to begin a vacation.

This a gorgeous hotel! The rooms are so large, comfortable, well
outfitted, and just plain posh. The price is higher than I usually
spend, but we were attending a meeting here, so it was the easiest thing
to do.
The staff were incredible, catering to you every wish, and couldn't do
enough for you.
I used the the Fitness Area, and have to say it was one of the best I
have ever found in a Hotel!
We ate in the lounge on the main floor, and the food was amazing. The
pulled pork Poutine was so wonderful I can still almost taste it, and
again the staff here were the best.
If you are looking for a stop-over between flights, and a place to lay
your weary head, you will not find anything better than this!

After arriving for a flight from the UK we wanted a hotel that was easy
to get to, had reasonable food without having to eat in a smart
restaurant and had a spacious room with a comfortable bed. This was all
achieved at the Fairmont. We so enjoyed our stay that we re-arranged the
last night of our trip to stay in it again!

The service at the Fairmont is perfect - not too deferential, everyone
is polite and friendly and knowledgeable (we had a slight
misunderstanding with our tub and the problem was solved in an instant).
Had dinner in the pub - again, the service was perfect, the food was
excellent and served quickly and the atmosphere was great.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone overnight in YVR - pre- or
post-holiday (or both!) |
