We stayed here for 8 nights in May'11 as we were visiting family in Surrey,
Vancouver. The location was ideal for what we required, close to family,
skytrain, the boarder and White Rock. Plenty of shops and amenities nearby for
stocking up on water etc...and it was very handy to have a fridge, microwave and
tea making facilities in the room.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and recognized us each day and would ask us
how are visiting was going. The room was very spacious and comfortable and
housekeeping would knock every day and replace the towels etc....
There was free wifi in the room which was very handy for staying in touch with
home.
Would definitely stay here again!!

Sufficient for 1 or 2 people
Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The hotel is conveniently located close to
the border. We left behind an electric toothbrush, which the hotel kindly mailed
via UPS once we supplied them with our UPS account number. Unfortunately, the
room was a little cramped for a family of four. The continental breakfast area
was extremely small and the selection was very limited. As a result, we had to
get breakfast somewhere else. If you are traveling alone or with two people this
hotel is sufficient, but we do not recommend it for a family of four or larger.

Best Western Peace Arch good reasonable place
Good clean hotel, perhaps a little pricy for just a place to sleep for the
evening. Not really much located around it. Breakfast was what you might expect,
decent continental sort of things, not the best I've seen but certainly not the
worst either.
Area recommendations
White Rock is a nice place, might be worth checking out a B&B if you are looking
for more of a getaway. The Best Western was just a good solid place to sleep,
clean and comfortable...

Reasonable and decent
If you're looking for a clean, friendly, convenient hotel in Surrey this is a
good choice. Not fancy but decent for the price which was reasonable. I'll stay
there again next time I need to be in that area.
Area recommendations
This is a business area...all the fun stuff is farther up the road in
Vancouver...

Best Western Peace Arch Inn
The room we had was quite small. The room overall was reasonably clean. The jets
in the bathtub were dirty. The shower curtain smelled of stale soap so we took
it down and soaked it in the tub for a while to remove the smell. The water was
contaminated so not drinkable. This was not the hotel’s fault as the whole
Surrey and White Rock area had a problem with e Coli in the city’s water system.
so had a boil water advisory for all residents. |
