I have never experienced a hotel like this. The hotel is located in a Downtown
Business club. As a guest you are entitled to all the amenities of the club.
These include an incredible roof top Pool/gym, light grill, dinner club, reading
room and billiards room. ..

The hotel is about a block from the convention center, where I had a meeting. It
is a couple blocks from "Gastown", which is the original Vancouver, so named
because of the gas lamps. It is also a few more blocks from Chinatown. The hotel
is a marvellous deal, and it was closer than most of the hotels recommended by
the association that sponsored the meeting. ..

In 1892, in the fledgling city of Vancouver, a group of optimistic merchants
founded a businessmen’s club that some years later evolved into the Terminal
City Club.
Beyond the main lobby, the foyer becomes the introduction to all the Club’s
facilities. From this grand hall, sheltered by the stained glass dome that
graced the original club premises for more than 85 years, Members can access the
private areas of the Club which are available for all hotel Guests.
