I've been traveling for years on business, and the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in
Vancouver strikes me as the standard business-class hotel. Typical furnishings
that are of a nice quality, nice towels, etc.

The Fairmont Waterfront is a contemporary hotel on the waterfront in Vancouver,
BC. Most rooms have great views of the bay. It is within walking distance from
most of the tourist spots, shopping and restaurants, but it is located a little
off the main routes. This affords you a little peace and quite, but results in a
little longer walk to most sites. .....Reviews

The hotel is located beside the
Vancouver Convention Center and the
Cruise Ship Terminal
by an enclosed walkway, and is within walking distance to
Stanley Park and
Gastown.

which you can take and head east to
