We were visiting from Minnesota for the BMO Marathon and we stayed a total of 9
nights. We loved it. We got upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment.
We had lovely room, very clean, plenty of amenities - we would absolutely stay

We were delighted to discover this excellent suites hotel with spotlessly clean
rooms in downtown Vancouver with private parking -- it takes some maneuvering to

Vancouver Aquarium, Sunset Beach (where there name comes from), and trendy shops
on Robson Street.

From Vancouver Airport to the Sunset Inn & Suites
Upon leaving you will be on Grant McConachie Way. Travel over the Arthur Laing
Bridge. Stay in the far right lane at the end of the bridge onto Granville
Street. After traveling over the Granville St. bridge into downtown Vancouver,
take the second left at Davie Street. Go four blocks up Davie and turn left onto
Thurlow Street. Then take the first right at Burnaby Street. The second building
from the corner on the right is the Sunset Inn & Suites.
From Seattle - Peach Arch Border to the Sunset Inn & Suites
Follow I-5 to the US/Canada Border Crossing. Upon entering Canada, the road
turns into Hwy 99, and then turns into Oak St. Once over the Oak Street bridge,
take exit 41B (Marine Drive West), and follow Marine Drive West till it goes
under a bridge (stay in the right lane, on Marine Drive West) and then it will
merge with Granville Street. After traveling on Granville Street, and over the
Granville St. bridge into downtown Vancouver, take the second left at Davie
Street. Go four blocks up Davie St. and turn left onto Thurlow Street. Then take
the first right at Burnaby Street. The second building from the corner on the
right is the Sunset Inn & Suites.
From Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to the Sunset Inn & Suites
Upon leaving the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, you will be on Hwy 17. Follow this
to Hwy 99, See the directions from Seattle above
From Whistler to the Sunset Inn & Suites
Take Hwy #99 South to Vancouver and Horseshoe Bay. Once reaching Horseshoe Bay,
merge onto Hwy #1 to downtown Vancouver. Now on Hwy #1, take the Taylor way exit
and turn right. At the bottom of Taylor Way, take a left onto Marine Drive, then
a right onto the Lions Gate Bridge. Coming into downtown Vancouver, you will now
be on Georgia Street. Take a right onto Thurlow Street. Go 9 blocks (1 block
past Davie Street) and take a right onto Burnaby Street. Two buildings in on the
right is the Sunset Inn
From Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal to the Sunset Inn & Suites
Leaving Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal, you will be on Hwy #1. Same as from
Whistler
Hwy #1 - Trans Canada Hwy from East to the Sunset Inn & Suites
Upon entering the city of Vancouver, take Grandview Hwy exit. Follow Grandview
Hwy, and then it will turn into W. 12th Ave. Take a right turn onto Granville
