The Listel Hotel
Comfortable rooms, good restaurant/bar, satisfactory amenities, good location, good price. If you want to stay downtown, don't want to spend a bundle, but still want to stay in a nice place, you can do a lot worse than the Listel. I'll be back whenever I travel to Vancouver....Hotel Reviews |

Park Plaza Hotel Vancouver
Stayed at the Park Inn & Suites on Broadway for 4 nights. The hotel is a new building, with a car park underneath, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It is within a 20 minute walk of Granville Island and Kitsilano, and although this hotel is not centrally located (you'd need to catch a bus to get to downtown), it offers good value for Vancouver, which is not a cheap place to stay. ....Hotel Reviews |

Executive Hotel Vintage Park - The Executive Hotel in downtown Vancouver is a very average hotel. It's a decent place to stay, but depending on what you're doing you can probably find somewhere better. The hotel service was quite good whenever we needed anything. Best Western Exhibition Park
Vancouver Stayed here for four nights while attending the Four Continents figure skating competition at the Pacific Coliseum. Location was great and only a ten minute walk to the PC. As an alternative, a bus stops right in front of the hotel on Hastings St. and the ride to PC literally takes a couple of minutes. Best Western Uptown Hotel This hotel was great value for the cost. It is not fancy and if you wish to feel coddled and pampered, this might not be the place for you. It is clean and very quiet for the three nights we stayed. The staff was helpful. Free underground secured parking (noteworthy). We actually enjoyed the free breakfast. .. Sandman Suites on Davie After some earlier accommodation issues, I went back to stay at the Sandman. What a great decision. I admit I was a bit concerned about some of the claims, but I found the hotel to be very clean and well kept in a great location in Vancouver. Coast Plaza Hotel & Suites Terrific suite with view of Stanley Park and Beach. Location perfect for what we wanted, tennis and walks in Stanley Park, English Bay Beach and local neighborhood feel. Fairmont Waterfront - We stayed in the hotel in January, which is probably not the best time to visit Vancouver. We were completely fogged in during the trip, so I cannot comment on the view from the room. The rooms themselves are good - clean, with excellent beds. Sutton Place Hotel - This is a gorgeous hotel. The decor, reception and rooms are beautifully done.... makes u feel like you've been transported back in time. Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver - We had a party of six stay here before a cruise and had a positive experience. It is within walking distance of the cruise port. The front desk people, esp. a nice young, tall woman with a great smile who worked days, were top-rate. The rooms are small. but clean and decorated well.
