The hotel was a great location for our trips to the university, but still close
to downtown, shops and services. It was off the road enough so was quiet. The
rooms were fairly basic and the beds were very comfortable, but what made it for
us for our 5 day stay, was the staff. All were very helpful, cheerful,
professional.

The price is right! The property is conveniently located just a few minutes
drive to downtown Victoria and all that it has to offer, and just a convenient
to access the Island Highway. Easy access off the highway from the Swartz Bay
ferry terminal. The Accent Inn is clean, quiet, really well maintained, large
rooms, free parking, amenities in the rooms, but my real comfort is with the
staff who are extremely friendly, and make me feel at home. I've stayed at this
property a number of times and will continue to make it my place to stay in
Victoria.

Nice clean room very comfortable and quiet. Check in staff were friendly and
helpful. The room numbering makes no sense but we found the room after a decent
walk around.
The hotel isn't that close to downtown but there is a massive shopping mall
across the road and another one about 5 minutes away.

We are sun birds; residence of Arizona, and have a home in Nanaimo, up Island
from Victoria. We travel twice a year back and forth staying in motels
overnight. Accent Inn was, for the price, a five star in our books. The staff
were top-notch; the assistant manager a gem -- a servant in the best of terms.
The location is good. It was quiet, (the Inn was full as it was near the
beginning of the annual Victoria Day Parade route). When I read that the Mall is
a block or so away, it is, but the blocks are not short so walking may not be an
option for the elderly. There is transportation if need be. The restaurant
adjoining the Inn has a "nothing exciting menu". One does get 10% off if they
are staying at the Inn. The wait people were on the ball and very understanding
in our request regards our eating habits; having a large salad before the main
course, and our need to split the main course.
We are off to Vancouver soon for a few days. There is an Accent Inn in Burnaby.
We will be there.Review of the Accent Inn Victoria

Very quiet and close to shopping. Spacious and clean.
Clerk went out of her way to be friendly and accommodating as daughter had just
had surgery. She even shared her lunch of banana and cookies when she found out
daughter hadn't eaten since early morning as we had to drive from Campbell
River.

We love staying at the Accent Inns in Victoria. They are very very hospitable
and friendly. Their rooms are exceptionally clean and fresh!! They have great
rates (including hospital rates which we use quite frequently). We were stranded
in Victoria Feb 23rd, (after spending a whole day at the hospital,) due to a
freak snow storm!!! We were able to re-book another night with no problem and
they even had a "snow special" for those who were stranded in town!!! This
special was even less than our "hospital" rate which we had paid for the night
before.. to sum it up we will not stay at any other hotel in Victoria as Accent
Inns has everything we need and want....GREAT HOTEL!!! They also have a shuttle
service to and from the Victoria Airport. If you forgot your toothbrush....no
problem ... they will give you one!!
