Travelling with work, the place we thought was booked did not have our
reservation and we had to find a place at the last minute. We checked out this
hotel and found that the rates were very reasonable. The service was great from
the moment we arrived and they even upgraded us to harbor views. The rooms were
very well done and clean with a comfortable sleep. I would recommend this hotel
to anyone that is visiting Victoria, as it is near everything.

Across the street from the Victoria Clipper...a convenient 3 minute walk. This
was our first trip to Victoria and through other reviews decided not to rent a
car. We walked to town which was very close. The hotel is close enough to
everything yet away from all the hustle and bustle. The hop-on hop-off bus was
across the street from the hotel making getting around and sightseeing that much
easier. The room was pretty basic but very comfortable. The restaurant seemed a
bit expensive but the food was decent and employees were very helpful and
friendly.

Went up to BC for a business meeting in April and stayed at the Grand Pacific
for 3 nights.
The hotel is of superior quality and service is outstanding. Great location over
looking the inner harbor.
Room - Very nice with great bedding
Views - Overlooking harbor
Food - We ate next door at the cafe in the Day's Inn, no reason just convenient
and economical
Lounge - Watched hockey on big screens at the Sports lounge located next door at
Day's inn

This was my first time in Victoria and I picked this hotel based on the reviews,
star rating and pictures online. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel is in
a great location near the Parliament buildings and the Old Town/Inner Harbour
area. Room-wise I've stayed in nicer 4-stars. We were in a suite with French
doors separating the living area from the bedroom and had a water view. Some of
the decor and upholstered furnishings are definitely showing their age and look
dated (not in a good antiquey way). Two TVs, both old-style. The bathroom was
interesting in that there were exterior vanities/sinks on both ends and the
shower/toilet were in a rectangular space with doors at each end. I prefer just
a larger, open bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal. I didn't eat at either
sit-down restaurants at the hotel; higher prices and I preferred to explore the
area. We got lattes and fruit/pastries at the Courtyard cafe twice and it was
ok; convenient if nothing else. My husband used the athletic club and pool one
morning and said both were really nice. Overall I'd stay again and can
recommend, but next time I visit Victoria I'll look for another property to try
before choosing this hotel again.

We stayed at the Hotel Grand Pacific as part of an overnight package offered
through the Victoria Clipper. The location is perfect; it's a short walk from
the ferry terminal, and it's easy to walk to all the tourist attractions from
the hotel.
We were upgraded while checking in to a room in the newer wing. Our room had a
small balcony and a great view of the harbor and downtown. The room was clean,
large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the ducks
out front.
We had one meal (brunch) in the restaurant. We chose the buffet and while
pricey, it was very good. Our waitress was happy to bring us something that was
not on the buffet at no extra charge.
I would recommend the Hotel Grand Pacific for a stay in Victoria.

Great Victoria hotel
We had travelled to Victoria to get married and we needed a space to receive an
few guests. The experience was fabulous. This hotel staff could not do enough
to help us. The staff were efficient, helpful and courteous. This is a beautiful
and hotel and the rooms are clean and elegant. This was a great choice of
hotels.

a great deal to offer and the climate is generally good |
