I really enjoyed my spa visit in April at the Sante Spa. The Spa lobby has just
been redone in a relaxing west coast motif. It gave a feeling of being in a
forest glade, maybe near the beach. The staff were all soft spoken and kind to
me. I enjoyed waiting for my pedicure in a glassed in room with wonderful views
of misty mountains and a sliver of golf coarse. I could see a mineral bath
bubbling away on a flag stone patio. Sherry was just so much fun to get a
pedicure from. She shared stories of her cats and family travel plans. I felt
right at home with her. I enjoyed the lemon water that was offered . The chair
was soft and I felt warm and safe covered up with a soft blanket. Sherry gives a
good foot massage, I left the spa feeling relaxed and happy.

The Hotel is Located on this Beautiful Hill and Golf Course! The Hotel Room Is
Great, the Restaurants are Lovely. The View is Spectacular, and the Spa is Wow!

We a an excellent time staying and playing at this facility. Golf was very good,
pool and spa was relaxing - all around excellent time. We planned to go into
town to eat but stayed on the hill to dine on Sushi, great choice. Breakfast was
a bit expensive for what you get. The golf course was great, Don in the Pro Shop
house was very helpfull. I hope to plan our next meeting here so i can play this
course again.

As with other Westin hotels, our room was spacious & comfortable. The cabinets
were stocked with bowls & plates which made dining in the room convenient. We
were also allowed a late checkout of 2p which allowed us to get in a morning
round of golf + shower before checking out.
As for the golf, both the Mountain & Valley courses were fun to play and in good
condition (I played with members on both days who were gracious hosts). My only
gripe was that the guy running the golf counter wasn't very welcoming and seemed
irritated that I was checking in to golf. The guys in the cartbarn, however,
were extremely helpful and eager to please.
I'd certainly go back anytime!

My wife and teen son decided at the last minute to stop over at a Resort just
outside Victoria. It was our first stay (Certainly not the last). We booked a 2
bedroom Suite with spectacular views over one of their two golf courses. The
golf course beaconed we play. So we booked a tee time for the next morning.
Dinner was a real treat. We found the staff to be enthusiastic and genuine,
especially at the Pro Shop. Golf was challenging with undulations and tricky
greens. The setting is so tranquil, peaceful and beautifully laid out. Not to
forget the best nights sleep we have had in a long time.For sure we will be back

One day remaining in a five day trip and have truly enjoyed staying in our huge
King Suite. Family of four (including teen) and plenty of room for all.
Well-stocked, full kitchen; large living area; and expansive sleeping area with
plenty of room for an extra cot. Full bath is luxurious plus half bath at front
came in handy. Bed and bath linens are brand new and very comfortable. Golf
course is amazing and the guys at the pro shop were extremely accommodating. The
resort setting is beautiful and relaxing and the athletic facilities are better
than most health clubs. The staff is attentive and truly seemed to care about
our every need. The best part of the deal is that we stayed in what is
essentially a luxury resort condo for the price of a value hotel. Being SPG
members we enjoyed an early check-in and late check-out. Despite the drizzly
weather, the Westin Bear Mtn Resort stands out as a bright spot on our Victoria
vacation. If our travels take us back to Victoria, we will definitely stay here
