Our one bedroom had a good sized kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave,
full size fridge, table and chairs, along with plates and cutlery. There was
ample room for 3-4 adults as there was a queen bed

I was travelling solo and also this was just a pleasure trip. I sought out
accommodations with cooking facilities as I hate to eat out alone and I also
want to stay on my heart healthy diet ...

Driving Instructions from Swartz Bay and Victoria
airport:
Exit onto Highway 17, following into the city where it
becomes Blanshard Street. Watch for the Mayfair Mall on
the right; the first cross-street is Finlayson Street.
Turning right onto Finlayson Street, follow it to the
third set of traffic lights. Turning right will put you
onto Gorge Road; one half block will find you at the
Howard Johnson Hotel.
