Loved the residential neighborhood. Was not as close to downtown Victoria as we
understood from the website but still within a 15 minute walk to town. Lobby was
cozy & welcoming. Front desk staff was a bit aloof at first but helpful when
asked. The room & bathroom were clean but water ..Hotel

We absolutely love staying at the James Bay Inn. It's our type of place. It's
cozy and comfortable and clean. Every time we come to Victoria we stay at the
James Bay Inn. We don't even think of staying anywhere else ...more

follow signs to Hwy 17. Travel south on Hwy 17 for approximately 28 km (18 mi).
Hwy 17 changes to Blanshard St. Stay on Blanshard St as it curves sharply and

Government St and proceed to hotel
