Wonderful trip. Attention to detail. Staff very friendly
and helpful. Perfect view. Lure a great restaurant with
spectacular view-the French Toast with Bananas Foster is
to die for. Close to shopping-just a few minute walk
from hotel. Was my birthday and the staff made it a
special one. Thank you.

I have lived in Victoria in the past so I'm very biased
on the city. I find it cute, fun, but slow and the
people there are simply amazing.
I come over to Victoria often and i will usually stay
with friends, but as I was here for work I stayed at
this hotel for 2 nights and also had meetings in the
hotel.
Not really too much to say about the hotel as everything
went smoothly, the rooms were clean. The only thing that
kinda sucks is that there is nothing really close by and
to get anywhere interesting in the city you have to
cross a bridge or a rail line. I much prefer staying on
the otherside of the harbour. That being said the walk
is only 10 minutes and it can be quite relaxing after a
day of work.

The Delta Victoria is a beautiful hotel and the staff
could not be friendlier. We were lucky enough to be
upgraded to an ocean view room and it was an amazing
view! It is one of those views that I would pay a few
extra dollars for next time.
The restaurant staff was very friendly and somehow they
even remembered my name from one day to the next. We got
some great tips on other dining options from the lounge
staff, but the meal we enjoyed most was at the hotel
restaurant. The staff were very pleasant. While we were
there for a hockey tournament - I would certainly go
back to this hotel for a weekend getaway to the island.
The hotel was very convenient to downtown and all the
arenas in the area.

We travel to Victoria usually once a year for a 3 - 4
day vacation. The last 2 years we have stayed at the
Delta. The location is good, just across the bridge from
downtown, a very short walk, but being just over the
bridge keeps the hotel nice and quiet.
The rooms are ok, so far we have stayed in the loft
rooms, they are narrow, 2 level rooms with a sofa bed
and bathroom downstairs and a loft with a King bed and
powder room upstairs. They are good for us as we are
traveling with 2 young kids. The only downside to these
rooms is they do not have a view, they just look out
over the back of the hotel. To get a harbour view it
costs more and the room would be 2 queens on one level,
so not as useful as the loft room.
There is an indoor pool and fitness room, the pool is
great, there is also a sun deck outside of the pool
area.
The hotel has a very nice restaurant (Lure), kids under
6 who are staying at the hotel eat free, which makes it
much more affordable.
If you can get this hotel on a special deal, then it is
worth going. For the regular price they charge, it is
time they updated the rooms, they are starting to look
tired and dated.

Spent New Years in Victoria with my partner, and we
stayed at this Delta location. Everything about this
hotel, from the rooms, to the service, to the quality of
the meals, was average. It was clean, mostly quiet, and
within a fair walk of the tourist areas of the city.
The price was decent for New Years, especially with a
15% coupon code... Google it and it'll be easy to locate

Hotel looks nice, has a good restaurant, bar, and ok
business facilities. It has a great view of the harbor,
but it is on the wrong side of the downtown (for walking
to restaurants, etc.). Rooms are nice, but a could use
an update. Older style TVs and decor a little dated.
Staff was nice.

Beautiful location overlooking the Inner Harbour, but
from the wrong side. I knew going into this hotel that
it was not near downtown Victoria, but I didn't realize
there is literally nothing to do right near the hotel.
Since we were along with my husband & he was on
business, I figured we didn't need another vehicle. We
took the hotel's free shuttle, which was very
convenient. But with kids, this meant turning in earlier
in the evening & planning more carefully when leaving
the hotel. I would have preferred a hotel with cafes,
restaurants & activities within easy walking distance.
(There is a bar/ restaurant in the hotel, but it's quite
subdued.) On the other hand, if we had had our vehicle
with us, or if we had wanted to just go for a walk near
the water, this would have been better.
Nice pool & gym area with complementary fruit & water,
even squash courts. Unfortunately the pool was packed
with rowdy young teenagers when we were there, one even
got sick on the pool area floor & it was cleaned up
right away, but not 100% and not sanitized... not all
that impressive.
There was quite a bit of noise from the hall outside our
room all night long, from people opening & closing doors
& talking. Luckily the hotel had an iPhone charger/
radio alarm clock with some "nature sounds" that cut the
noise for our kids. The TV set was old and the picture
kind of disappointing. I did enjoy the robes, comfy
beds, duvets & great pillows, and we had a great view of
the Parliament buildings at night.
For a family of four, this was almost the only 4-star
hotel I could find that had 2 Queen beds in each room
instead of a choice between 1 King or 2 Double. I'd
recommend this hotel, but be clear about the drawbacks.
