Hotel review of the Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites

Upon arrival we were upgraded from a Double Queen Suite to a Penthouse Suite on
the top floor of the hotel. What a nice surprise! We had a wrap around balcony
where we enjoyed the view drinking wine. The front desk was excellent - they
provided us suggestions, mapped how to get various places using public
transportation, and allowed us to keep the car parked after we checked out.
The hotel room was huge, clean with a king sized bed with attached bathroom and
a queen bed in another bedroom with a second bathroom accessible via the hall.
It was a short walk to Inner Harbor and all the other Victoria sites. I would
highly recommend this hotel even without the upgrade.

Stayed at the Chateau Victoria for two nights while on a family vacation. The
spacious room had two queen beds, with one in a separate bedroom, a small
kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave and sink, and a couch, chair, and desk
in a living room area. I believe the hotel is a converted apartment building
which makes the rooms larger than a normal hotel room. The hotel location was
great with access to the inner harbor less than a 10 minute walk away. Free
parking in the hotel garage was greatly appreciated. The room and hotel were
clean and the front desk was efficient and professional. I recommend this hotel
based on both the value and the location.

Very pleasant hotel with generous sized rooms. Very comfortable separate
bedroom. Only problem Hotel was way too hot, we turned off heating and opened
balcony door which made our room more pleasant but the heat in the corridor was
amazing. Definitely think you could do better than eat in the restaurant
although it did have great views.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. It's really a nice hotel and while its not
on the water its very centrally located. The service was pretty good and the
staff were really nice. The room we had on our first visit was much better, I
think it was on the 3rd floor. This time we were in rm 217 which was next to the
pool, housekeeping, and appeared to be over the bar. It was pretty loud. I would
definitely still come back here again.

This was my first visit at Chateau Victoria and it certainly won't be the last.
I stayed in a one-bedroom suite for a few nights and I have to admit that I was
quite impressed with the level of comfort that was being offered. It really felt
like I was in a very quiet apartment (kitchenette, two television sets, very
comfortable bed, separate bedroom). The staff were always very courteous (maybe
a little less so from the younger and tall gentleman at the reception desk who
assumes his duties with no smile). The only problem that I encountered (and
reported to staff) was the inconsistent flow of hot and cold water in the
shower. I had to deal with short episodes of both cold and burning hot showers
... Since I never spend too much time in a shower anyhow, it didn't ruin my
overall experience at the hotel. I highly recommend the Chateau Victoria.
