My husband made a reservation for us to be in a king
bed, but when we got there the only rooms available were
standard rooms with two double beds. The traveler in
line in front of me had booked a suite and was also
told, Sorry, only standard rooms available, but we will
move you tomorrow. We cancelled and went to the Days Inn
where they put us in a nice King with Kitchen suite,
free parking, free breakfast. Don't waste your time with
Harbour Towers.

This hotel is in a very good location. We stayed for 2
nights and friends of ours had a room too. We both had
the King rooms with kitchenette. The rooms are in need
of updating, the beds are very comfortable. The water
pressure is very strong, however, the temperature
fluctuates alot. There is no air-conditioning, so not
sure I would stay here in the summer. Our friends ended
up in a room close to the elevators. It is very loud and
kept them awake at night. Most of the ice machines are
broken and the nearest ice machine that works is on the
7 th floor. We are on the 11 th floor. The elevators are
slow and small. The only vending machine that is
available is in the parkade. The dinner at Vic's was
very good, the service was lacking. Our server was slow,
confused and clumsy. Over all the hotel offers a good
rate, they really need to conduct some maintenance. For
example, the hotel room doors are tight and have to be
slammed to close them. Light switches are cracked and
the carpets and upholstery need to be cleaned. Next time
I come here, I will probably try out a different hotel.

Our family of 5 stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was
spacious...we never felt crowded. The suite had a
kitchenette which was nice for fixing a light breakfast.
There was a king bed, double bed, and a sofa bed. There
were 1 1/2 baths which made mornings easier. The
shower/bathtub was in the master bedroom. The vanity was
located outside the shower area so 2 people could be
getting ready in that bathroom. The whole suite was VERY
clean. There is also a pool, hot tub, and sauna!
There seemed to be a number of teams (groups of
teenagers) at the hotel, but we never saw them any place
other than the lobby and they were very well behaved.
The hotel location is perfect for ferry
passengers...about a 2-3 block walk. Nice views from the
rooms too.
Our most serious complaint was the extreme fluctuations
in shower water temperatures at different times of the
day on multiple days. Both my husband and teenager
daughter got burned when the water switched to scalding
without warning. I would definitely NOT put a young
child in the shower.
Overall, this hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a
very solid value.

We would definitely stay here again!! We were very
impressed with the spacious 2 level Jacuzzi suite we
stayed in! It had a lovely view of the harbor and also
the ocean, up on top floor (12th) The food we ordered in
from Vic's Restaurant was very good, also the kitchen
was well set up, so we made our own breakfasts...All the
people at the front desk were very helpful, offering
rides up town with their courtesy vehicle, and one lady
helped with finding us a massage, which was Great!!! The
walk from the motel to the inner harbor was not far, and
within 1 block we found 2 nice restaurants :) For us it
was the Perfect Place!!! :)
