Came up to Vancouver/Vancouver Island on business and stayed in 3 different properties. When coming to this property in Victoria, I was very surprised!

Ramada's I'm used to staying in, in Canada, are usually limited service properties and lack good service and amenities. When arriving to the hotel (only a few min from downtown), I was greeted genuinely by the front desk staff. I was given info on the area and was assured if I needed any help, they were there for me.

The rooms were very big, spacious and clean! Free wifi is great as well. The property is def a full-service property, having a fitness room, meeting spaces, pool, restaurant and even a good bar and also the opportunity to buy alcohol on the side. Everything you need in one spot!

Very convenient, amazing service (everybody smiles!), good amenities and the best thing, reasonable price! Would def stay here again. Until next time!

Had an amazing time here! The staff were very friendly and I loved how close it was to the mall and downtown, and there's a great restaurant!
I have to go back to Victoria in a week, and I've already booked another stay!

My girlfriend and I stayed for three nights at this hotel while we were holidaying in Victoria. The hotel was very reasonably priced, using a travel website we were able to get our room here for less that the price of a private room in a hostel. The hotel is fairly basic, as you would expect for that price point, but the rooms were clean and quiet and the service at the front counter was good.

The only issue for potential travelers would be its distance from downtown. It is not within walking distance at all. We had a car, so it was not an issue for us, but this would definitely be something to be aware of.

I would highly recommend a visit for breakfast to the hotel cafe. The food is a simple cooked breakfast, as you would expect, but the manager has filled the walls with a combination of baseball and Bruce Springsteen memorabilia, and the hebis very friendly to talk to.

Overall I would rate this as a good option for a budget conscience traveler who has access to their own vehicle while they are in Victoria.

Thank you for staying at the Ramada Victoria and for writing a review . As you discovered our off season rates are very competitive and with a little shopping you found us the best option for your stay in Victoria. Although we are most easily accessed by car, we are also directly on the city bus route to downtown. Thank you also for your description of our breakfast café. The proprietor is a dedicated Springsteen fan and a sports buff so his presence and choice of decor makes for an entertaining breakfast experience.

This hotel is good value at the $100.00 mark but when you book well in advance with Priceline or Hotwire is is tremendous value. The rooms are small but very functional with good beds a large fridge and good sound proofing. It is close to the gorge water way walk and shopping

Thank you for your review . We are happy to hear that you found our hotel convenient in both price and location. Although we are not in the centre of downtown we are in a great spot near the Gorge Waterway and Galloping Goose Regional Trail for anyone who wishes to take advantage of the beautiful Victoria weather and go for a stroll. We thank you for staying with us and look forward to being able to be your hosts on another occasion in the near future.

We stayed for two nights in mid September and thankfully after reading the reviews, our expectations were lowered. The hotel is very convenient and for the price was pretty hard to beat. All we were doing was sleeping there as we didn't have much time to waste and wanted to see and do some things in Victoria.

The hotel is very dated and our non-smoking room stank of smoke. The staff were pleasant enough but to be honest i had not much dealing with them. I had chosen this hotel due to the gym facility which is a shocking excuse for a gym. It had 3 pieces of equipment in a small room with no aircon and doing a work out in the heat was impossible.

We were a little surprised that the online rates weren't available in person (which would have saved us about $15 a night), but it was still a decent price. The staff was pleasant and answered all our questions, and were even willing to do a bit of internet sleuthing for us on nearby attractions. It was also a convenient location to get around the peninsula from (but then, most places in Victoria can say the same).
I really enjoyed that the bathtub and toilet were behind a door so the sink could be used independently, which saved a lot of hassle. The room was clean and the toiletries provided were surprisingly nice to use (and I especially loved the citrus smell of the soaps).
The biggest surprise of the stay was the burgers from the pub! They were reasonably priced, their house salad is *seriously good*, and they were made by hand. If you stay here, you absolutely must try the mushroom burger. You can call down from your room and pick them up yourself.
All in all, I would have loved the place more if it had been cheaper.

This hotel is way overprized! The rooms are small, noisy and definitely need renovation. I would not stay here again, nor would recommend this hotel to anyone. The quality couldn’t meet with the other Ramada hotel we stayed in.

The room was OK, lot of space and quiet.
The bed was not clean. We found strings of long hair on our bed sheets and pillow cases, so I don't know if the bed linens were changed or the bed was was just made up after the previous guest left.
The shower didn't have enough hot water so I ended up with a cold shower. Actually the water was just a little warm as I got in and in 10 minutes it ran out completely and only cold water was running.
The parking in front of the hotel is limited so we were told to park in the underground parking which looked bad but it was ok.
Overall the hotel was pricey for the conditions offered and I couldn't get a good sleep in a bed that didn't looked clean.
