My wife and I were referred to this quaint hotel and couldn't wait for the
opportunity to experience a little piece of what others have been commenting on
within their reviews. With very high expectations, I am pleased to say that the
Abigail's "experience" is all that it is built up to be and more! I say
experience because within the confines of the hotel itself, you are treated as
royalty by each and every staff member, the ambiance and history of the
establishment are impossible to ignore, right down to the secret antique liquor
cabinet ;) Upon our arrival we were provided a tour of the grounds, having the
opportunity to see each level of room offered along with a behind the scenes
peek into how each and every detail within the room has been planned and
executed to meet all guests satisfaction, regardless of the suite chosen. We
received complimentary waters and cookies in our own room that really expressed
their appreciation for our choosing to stay at Abigail's. The pleasure was all
ours and we look forward to frequent trips to Victoria in order to relive and
create new memories of an unforgettable trip. Thanks again to Nick and all the
staff who truly showed us what a boutique hotel experience should be.

This was my 5th visit to Abigail's, the first for my friend. We've stayed in the
Coach Suites on the other trips, this time in the main building. Love the
cheerful and helpful staff, gorgeous rooms, great beds, elegant atmosphere,
wonderful breakfasts. Can't recommend it enough. No children, it's very quiet,
hors d'oeuvres served at 5 pm, wine and beer available for purchase. Seating
outside in the summer. An easy walk to the Harbor.

My husband and I stayed at Abigail’s for three nights in the Honeymoon Suite,
(Orchid Room) and loved every second! The staff was very friendly and went above
and beyond what we would have expected. We showed up a little early, but they
were more than happy to hold our luggage while we were out. We came just as they
were finishing up breakfast. I had made a comment that we couldn’t wait to eat
breakfast there. They offered us muffins that were served that morning. I was
shocked because normally the staff at other hotels won’t do that. We had also
mentioned that we celebrated our honeymoon at Abigail’s and we came back to
celebrate our wedding anniversary. The manager gave us a complimentary bottle of
wine to celebrate the occasion. I cannot express how wonderful we were treated.
The room we stayed in was beautiful!!!!! The bed was very comfortable, the
jacuzzi tub was very relaxing, and the overall vibe of the room was great, not
to mention the view! The breakfast was very good and Brenda was a sweetheart! I
wish I remembered everyone’s name, but like I said, there was not one person who
was less than wonderful. It was very hard to leave, but that just means that my
husband and I have to come back!!! You will be greatly missed, but thank you for
the wonderful memories a second time around!

I read all the reviews on trip advisor and booked the hotel based on them
thinking that it would be a good choice however it was way more than good. We've
never had such a perfect weekend away and since it was for our 25th anniversary
I can only say "Thank You". From the ease of check-in, the exact on time arrival
of our night snacks (Do No Disturb package) as well as breakfast to the staff
actually thinking our jokes were funny we can only say "Wow". The King Sized bed
with at least twelve pillows, the fireplace and the tub that could probably have
fit six just made us never want to leave the room. Thank you to everyone at
Abigail's but especially to Colleen who checked us in and Kelly who helped us
with our dinner reservations. Keep up the good work ; )

Abigail's Hotel set the bar quite high for any other B&B I will ever stay at. I
will be surprised if any other place surpasses Abigails. For our next trip, I
have already passed on one B&B because they wanted to charge extra for weekends
since they offer breakfast then. Abigail's breakfast is included in the price
that is quoted to you and wow those breakfasts were fantastic. Everyone I came
into contact with made my stay just a little more perfect. I never caught the
name of the morning wait staff and the gardner, but they were just as gracious
as everyone else at Abigails. Colleen set the tone the moment I called to make
the reservation, Mary and Kelly provided me much needed conversation when I
could not sleep, Laura and the rest of the front desk always made sure I had
water available, and Matt is an absolute genius when it comes to the kitchen. I
really was sad to leave and next time I would love to try the spa part of the
hotel. Thank you so much! I am so glad I read the reviews and chose Abigail's.
