We recently stayed for 10 nights in a suite with a full kitchen. Although not a
new property we found it clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly
and helpful , including the staff in reception and housekeeping. In fact we got
a call from reception 10 minutes after going up to our room just to make sure we
were satisfied. (thanks Roxie)
The kitchen , although small had all the appliances big and small as well as
pots and pans and all the kitchen gadgets you can think of. The beds were fine
and made daily for us.
We had a blast in the pool which may be the warmest pool I have ever swam
in.There was a computer free for guests to use the internet in a private room
just off the lobby. There were laundry facilities on the 2nd and 4th floors and
a fitness room on the 2nd. Although we didn't use the restaurants, they looked
nice and the portions looked huge.
After reading recent reviews I'm not sure the reviewers stayed in the same hotel
as us , but we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for
good middle of the road accommodation.

Carpeting was dirty/oily, sofa had stains all over it, bathroom was dirty, king
size bed collapsed in the center while sleeping with only the combined weight
250lbs my wife and I (very sleepless night). I couldn't switch rooms and no
maintenance I tried to cancel the next night and get it refunded but Ramada inn
fought it so I called my credit card co and they helped me get my refund

wonderful, centrally located. Great place to stay.
We had a wonderful place to stay while visiting Butchart Gardens. The drive out
to the gardens is very scenic. The motel is just out of the center of all the
traffic. The local is quiet, and easy to find. Easy to get to China Town and to
the ferry

Good Value
A good 2 star accommodation on a quieter street not far from downtown Victoria.
It has a Pub with reasonably good food and a liquor store for those so inclined.
Staff were friendly and efficient. It has a restaurant open for breakfast and
lots of parking. Rates were reasonable for the accommodation offered.

Great Hotel for the price!
Our room was clean, the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant in
the actual hotel is only open for breakfast but there is a pub on site, crappy
food and the bartender (who looked to be the only one working) was rude. The
room was clean, the soaps were wonderful and it was quiet. We would book here
again. It was easy to find and close to almost everything. Just don’t eat at the
pub.

This hotel is good, but in need of refurbishment as things are a little tired,
which is a shame as it is in not too bad a location. We had a sat nav and so
found it easily, but could be a little difficult to find using maps. The staff
were very good and check-in was speedy. We had room 220 which was opposite the
lift which was very noisy and in desperate need of renewing. The room was large
and spacious with two queen beds and was very clean. If it had a good going
over, this hotel would definitely deserve a 5 star rating. It is a 30 minute
walk along the river to the City Centre and it is a beautiful walk if sunny.
There is a bus service if you want to use transport, which stops right outside
the hotel, and I believe it costs around $2.50 to get into the centre.
The swimming pool is large and well equipped, and has tables and chairs to sit
at in the sun as you use the hotel's barbeque. The hotel is situated in a quiet
area and we heard no road noise from the main road nearby. All in all, would
recommend it but it does need refurbishment

Room was small, with noise coming from next room, entrance to hotel was not
bright as the picture. Pictures tell a different story. Low price hotel.

I stayed here on my visit to the island, it came recommended by the Ramada in
Vancouver. I enjoyed my stay, nothing to rave about, but nothing to complain
about. Quiet, inexpensive, decent rooms and location is handy. Hope this helps!

The room was comfortable and clean.
I thought that the $20.00 surcharge for a pet was a bit too much. I knew that
there would be a surcharge, but the exact amount was not mentioned on the
website.
convenient and close to where we were visiting a relative. The breakfast served
was tasty, and service was good. staff were accommodating

I decided to spent a little less on a hotel and booked at the Ramada. I wasn't
disappointed. Firstly I don't know why someone pointed out in another review it
was located in one of the worst parts of town. It looked like a regular
neighborhood to me with good looking houses. And c'mon , Victoria is a very
quiet city anyway !
The hotel is a 10 minute drive to the city centre.
The rooms are little outdated / old fashioned. But spotless clean.
Front desk were very friendly , always a nice start of your stay.
The Free internet works flawless. The business center computer worked great too.
I didn't use the restaurant since I like a buffet in the morning instead of
ordering of the menu. Free parking. This simply is a good hotel for your money.
