We stayed for three nights in this hotel during a round
trip through Canada. They gave us a beautiful room with
a wonderful view to the harbour and the parliament. We
enjoyed the comfort and quietness. Everything was
definitely excellent in this hotel and we had a great
stay there. The staff is very friendly and helpful and
the restaurant highly recommendable.

This hotel has a wonderful position overlooking Victoria
harbour. The views are amazing, yet the hotel remains
quiet and relaxing. Rooms are a good size, the staff are
courteous and helpful, and the whole experience is
excellent

I am a little bit of a snob about hotels. I generally
don’t book hotels under five stars. This isn’t because I
have tons of money or was raised in a five star
family...I just want my stay to be clean, comfortable
and better than home in some way.
The Delta Point in Victoria is where my Aunt stays for
business. I tagged along for my few days off.
The hotel itself is actually very nice. The location
superb, the rooms extremely clean and the views are
amazing.
I grew up in Victoria and felt as though I was seeing my
home town in a whole new light. This review is really
about the staff though...Everyone was so sincere,
accommodating, lovely...it's as though this hotel has a
training regiment that no other has realized.
You never feel as though the polite attitude, concern or
overall helpfulness is forced. The staff are truly are
nice people, happy to be there, happy to get to know you
or extend their advice, service and recommendations in
any way.
The service makes this hotel and the GM should be very
proud of what he or she has achieved.
If you are looking for a great “home” base during your
stay...a clean, nicely appointed room and best of
all...a welcoming smile at every corner. I would highly
recommend the Delta Point in Victoria.
Oh, and the spa treatments are sublime!

The hotel is exceptional in its location and service.
Across the bay from downtown Victoria (5 minute walk),
it is located on a quite cul-de-sac where the only
sounds you hear are the sea birds. Our hotel room was
clean, spacious, and most importantly for us - had a
window that could open. The restaurant - Lure, was quite
expensive, but the food is great and the service
excellent. If ever we return to Victoria, we will
definitely return to the delta.

My wife and I just got back from our 2 night stay at the
Delta Victoria. What an excellent hotel. The location is
superb, with a very scenic waterfront view on the
quieter side of the harbor, just a 5 minute walk from
downtown. The room was spacious and well appointed and
the bed was as nice as anything we have experienced.
Staff at the hotel are competent and very friendly. One
notable example is Mark Wachtin who I believe manages
the Lure Restaurant at the Delta. Mark went out of his
way to ensure that we had a great dining experience . We
will definitely stay at the Delta on our return visits
to Victoria.

I just completed a 3 night stay at the Delta. The hotel
staff was very professional without being stuffy -
competent and friendly. Our non-view room was large and
comfortable. Fitness center, pool, and hot tub are first
rate. Views across the harbor from lobby and restaurants
are great; check out the Parliament building at night.
On-line discount for immediate payment. Minor issues -
pool area was not regularly cleaned up on busy days;
lots of empty water bottles and used towels scattered
about. Also, the price was a bit higher than I would
have liked. Overall, however, a good experience.

We got a room for the night for just over
$100 which was a steal of a deal. Don't believe the bad
reviews. This hotel is beautiful, the staff is helpful
and friendly, and the pillow top beds along with it being
right on the water.. Ah! Heaven! They upgraded us for
free to a king size bed and an amazing view of the
harbor. But regardless of the location of your room it's
right on the water, you simply walk out and you are on
the beach. This hotel is gay friendly also! I love this
place!

We had a beautiful view over the harbour and adjoining
rooms as well our room had a shared huge corner balcony
(with one other room who never used it or wasnt there)
Quick walk to downtown & restaurants, water ferry was
fun & had a dock stop right out front of the hotel.
Found the staff very helpful. Rooms were clean and in
good shape. No complaints.

Stayed here one night on Air Miles points, plus a $50
fee to upgrade to a harbour view room - we were on the
7th floor and had a wonderful view - well worth it. Room
wasn't overly large, but very nice. All the staff we
dealt with were excellent. Great location - just a short
walk across the bridge and you're right downtown. If you
end up on the other side (ie Laurel Point, I think it's
called) and don't want to walk back, there are lots of
little water taxis beetling around the harbour that will
quickly run you over to the hotel dock for $5. Indoor
pool... the outside deck is a little small.
