Review of the Abigail Hotel Victoria BC

Abigail’s Hotel was a wonderful place for our weekend getaway with its
convenient neighborhood location, just three blocks from Victoria’s famous
attractions, museums and beautiful Inner Harbor. Our day started with a
delicious gourmet breakfast and in the afternoons after a treatment in the spa
we enjoyed their wonderful appetizers. What a wonderful way to end the day
wrapped in a goose-down duvet.

We stayed only 1 night as it was just a weekend getaway for us but it was
fabulous. The hotel itself is great and the location is perfect too. It's far
enough from the core busy downtown area but close enough to walk right to it.
Staff were pretty helpful and the breakfast is as good as everyones making it
out to be on this site......I just dont recommend getting the breakfast in bed.
We weren't brought up everything we needed, I'm sure if we would've called down
they would have taken care of us but I'm not one to make a fuss over little
things and for that to be my only complaint I think that says a lot about this
place.
All in all a wonderful plcae and would recommend to anyone!!

What a beautiful hotel. Very romantic rooms in the heart of Victoria. The staff
was extremely nice, very helpful at every turn. Breakfast was wonderful and the
chef was accommodating of dietary needs and preferences, and wonderfully
friendly like everyone else there. If you are going to Victoria, staying at
Abigail's will make your trip even more special.

We went to Abigail's Hotel with very high expectations given the great reviews
and high ranking here on TripAdvisor. Nick and his staff made sure all of those
expectations were met and exceeded. The breakfast is amazing (the scones are to
die for). They helped find dinner and lunch locations, very attentive to the
needs of the guests. The rooms were great, the fireplace was nice touch (with a
real fire). Location makes it easy to walk to all areas of downtown Victoria in
a few minutes. You will not be disappointed.

We spent a lovely four night weekend at Abigail's. Three nights in a Coach Room
and one in a Honeymoon Room. It was wonderful to the last detail. The gracious
staff was more than accommodating. They did a wonderful job of making us feel at
home and making sure we were looked after. When we arrived they showed us around
and brought us up to our room. They also were more than happy to help us with
dinner reservations, giving suggestions and making calls to various places, when
the ones tried were booked up. We give the staff a big thumbs up. Fresh cookies
on check-in, what a treat!!! Both rooms were lovely, but the Honeymoon Room sure
was special!! We loved it!! The cosy fireplaces were a nice touch on cool
February evenings. A lot of great things could be said about Matt's breakfasts
and evening appetizers, but I'll keep it simple. They could not have been
better!! We are already looking forward to a return visit. Definitely the most
special place we have ever stayed!!!!
