The hotel service and atmosphere is wonderful . We have
stayed in Hilton Hotels in Ireland and your breakfasts
and facilities compare favourably to those hotels . Your
hotel is definitely the best i have stayed in in Canada.
The room although a bit crowded is wll organized . I
loved the kitchen space! If the weather had been better
we would have enjoyed the balcony .
I was very impressed to see the young people using you r
breakfast space for a meal and get together.
Thank you for turning mucky weather into a lovely stay .

My recent stay at the Inner Harbour Best Western was my
second visit to this property. Am very happy I returned.
I unexpectedly received an upgrade from street view side
to the harbour view side. Very peaceful scene. The rooms
were well appointed for the needs of people aged 8 years
to 70 years in my group. The breakfast offerings were
good (my husband LOVED the coffee), and my grandsons got
full. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
Appreciated the secure, convenient parking. I will
return to this hotel whenever I'm in Victoria.

I was supposed to stay for five nights here.
I checked in at 11pm, went up to the room, stood for 5
minutes in dismay at the disappointing quality. The
pictures and reviews do not match the room quality. And
the smell was awful - like an old cabin that hadn't been
opened up in months.
This hotel definitely needs a reno. It looks like they
might have done one several years ago, but they need to
remove the layers of renos and paint and wallpaper, and
start from scratch.
There was no way I could stay there for five nights so I
checked out and found another hotel. They were gracious
enough to not charge me for the night so I give them
credit for doing the right thing. It is also a good
location but really, anything in downtown Victoria is a
good location as you can walk anywhere.

I wanted a special trip to celebrate my mother and
sister's birthday in Victoria. I read lots of reviews of
Victoria hotels and chose Best Western Inner Harbor. My
family arrived from California unaware what was in store
for them. We took the Seaplane up from Seattle to
Victoria. We arrived in Victoria earlier than check in
time. The desk staff was very friendly and offered to
store our luggage and offerred places within walking
distance to get something to eat while our room was
being prepared. The lobby was clean and welcoming and
all staff were very friendly...a good sign. When we
returned from lunch, our room was ready. The room was
spacious, with tasteful decor. The kitchen was a suprise,
and stocked with essentials. The kitchen even had a view
of the harbor !! The view was stunning from our room on
the 7th floor. The beds were comfortable and no problems
with sleeping as evidenced by the snoring in our room.
The sauna and hot tub were very much appreciated after
walking in the cold blustery day. I can't say enough
about the helpfulness of the staff in calling for taxi's
and recommendations. They even stored our luggage on day
of check out while we went to "high tea" before our late
afternoon plane departure. When we forgot our luggage
claim tickets with mom on the other side of the harbor
because she was walked out, they were quick to assist
with calling her location so we could get the claim
ticket numbers. Good security measures. The continental
breakfast was nicely presented and very good. All this
service, nicely sized room with a view at a very
reasonable price...one word WOW. leaves extra money for
horse carriage rides, high tea ect.. Highly recommended |
