We love this place as a quick getaway for those rare times we are able to
leave the kids and have an evening away from life.
We have travelled many places and still find this to be one of our favorite
places in the world.
The beds, view, jetted tubs, outdoor pool & hot tub and food are what bring
us back.
There are great activities to fill your time but it is hard to leave these
amazing rooms.
When we do leave the room there are too many things to fit into a short
stay.
We love to go kayaking across the bay and into the park to see seals,
jellyfish & starfish.
The waters here a the pacific ocean but are very calm. We also took an
amazing cruise with a marine biologist that was one of the highlights of our
stay. We learned so much and even pulled up a prawn trap, saw seals, eagles
and many other creatures we never knew existed. We have gone whale watching
but felt we learned more on this tour and it was right from the resort
marina.
We also took this boat to see the Butchart Gardens which are just across the
bay, it was a great way to avoid the parking and crowds and take an
informative cruise.
The spa in the resort offers an unique local spin on its treatment and you
leave feeling like you are floating after the massages.
We highly recommend this resort and hope to return as soon as we can.

We were thrilled with our time at this resort. We were looking for a weekend
away from
Seattle that allowed us water views, let us feel we were someplace
completely different, had a modern yet comfortable feel, offered tremendous
food and wine, had close access to a city, and offered a flair of casual
elegance. Those expectations were definitely met and surpassed at this
resort. We were especially pleased since the rates dropped nearly $300 from
one weekend to another due to fall rate decrease. We found the hotel fairly
easily, very reasonable rate found on

After spending the weekend in Tofino and before heading back to Seattle, we
stayed on our anniversary night on Oct. 10th at Brentwood Bay Resort. The
room was immaculate with an extremely comfortable bed and reclining leather
chairs in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner
at Seagrille with excellent service from our waitress. The Jacuzzi tub with
the candles was so relaxing and soothing after the long drive from Tofino.
If was very quiet at night and the morning came to soon when we had to head
out to catch the ferry at noon. We would definitely choose to stay at
Brentwood Bay Resort on our next visit to Vancouver Island, when visiting
Victoria.

Breakfast on the balcony of your room If you could imagine Butchart Gardens
being even better, how about staying just down the river from the property
and taking a boat and docking it on the backside of the gardens. On top of
that you get to stay at a fabulous resort with a 5-star restaurant and a
jacuzzi tub in your room. That is what you get when you stay at Brentwood
Bay Resort. Yes it is pricey. But if you want a special experience for your
visit to Victoria and Butchart Gardens, I highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I were very impressed with this beautiful lodge in Brentwood
Bay. The room was beautiful with a lovely view, a comfortable bed, candles
and coffee machine. Although the location wasn't ideal for travelling around
the island, it is very handy having the ferry crossing next to the lodge.
The restaurant and bar were also lovely meaning we didn't have to travel for
great food and wine. Free parking was an added bonus. Wonderful place to
stay.

Stayed for one night aug 2nd on last night of road trip around Vancouver
Island .
This place is amazing; relaxing , lovely room with candlelit jet tub ,
fireplace , patio overlooking the bay .Extremely comfortable room . helpful
staff who obliged us by freezing our fish from an earlier fishing trip for
the long journey home .
Excellent food, courteous and efficient staff and the lemon vodka cocktail I
recommend !
Quick dip in the pool before dinner . disappointing that we didn't know
about the family of otters in the marina till we discovered them when we
were rushing to catch our ferry the following morning , missed a great photo
opportunity , probably the areas best kept secret. !
Only sorry we couldn't stay longer , would stay here again rather than
downtown Victoria its quieter and not too far away from the main tourist
areas. anyway.

My mom and I came primarily to visit Butchart Gardens, and this is the
closest hotel. Little did I know what a joy the whole trip would be. This is
a little gem, hidden away from the noisy world. The entire staff did
everything to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are lovely, the food is
incredible, and the location is so quiet and pleasant. We spent many happy
hours just taking in the quiet and scenery. It was a most memorable
experience and made a very special time for me and my precious mother.
