Stayed 1 night in upper floor room facing south (back) parking lot. Heard
neighbor's sneezes in next room but slept fine. Room not overly large but clean
and adequate with mini-fridge, microwave, and decent bathroom.
Courteous staff at check-in.
For about $60, is a good deal if you do not need to be downtown.

It is hard to find a good deal during Christmas, but we did. We spent $65 per
night for a double room. I didn't expect it to be nice since it is just besides
Douglas street (main highway in Victoria, busy and noisy) and a little far from
downtown. But it turned out to be quiet and clean. It gets a microwave oven, a
small fridge, coffee maker, internet and TV. Though no water pot was provided,
we used the coffee maker to boil water and make tea. Sound night sleep charged
both of us and gave us a freshing start next morning. The bus stop is about 50
meters away. It probably takes 10 mins to get to the central downtown. Of
course, I wish it could be a little more closer.

I found this hotel on several internet sites with a 24 hour sale promo. A room
with two beds - $41 Can. a night. I checked the reviews and thought it was worth
a shot, so we booked and prepaid for one night. When friends found out where we
were staying, their response was less than favorable - you don't want to stay
there, it has a huge strip joint/nightclub/liquor store in it!! were the
frequent comments we heard. Frankly, despite the positive reviews I was actually
concerned enough to call the hotel and ask for a room as far away from the
"establishments" as possible. Our new room was supposed to be overlooking the
trails behind the hotel, but as it turned out, our room overlooked the parking
lot and part of one of the nightclubs. The room is not huge, but it certainly
worked for the two of us. We had two large double beds (may have been queens but
advertised as doubles), a desk, a seating area, a fridge, microwave, coffee pot,
ironing board, a tv - all we ever need in a hotel room. The beds were slightly
firm but certainly comfortable - there was an minor earthquake in Victoria that
night that apparently woke some locals, but we did not notice. Lots of hot
water, lots to towels, and toiletries. I am a light sleeper and I honestly did
not hear a thing all night, and we were right near the parking lot. All three
desk clerks we dealt with were helpful and friendly. My husband and I felt that
we got exceptional value for our money and would not hesitate to stay here again
even when it was not on sale :-)

Not the greatest location/clientele but the hotel was surprisingly clean and
comfortable and a very good value. I’ve stayed 3 times at this hotel and each
time i’ve requested a quiet area of the hotel or room, but each time it’s quite
noisy through the night and although the hotel is clean and the staff is
friendly i think i might stay somewhere else from now on - just can’t get a good
sleep there!

We really enjoyed staying the two nights at this hotel, its very clean and
comfortable. It’s located on one of the main road of downtown Victoria, walking
distance from lots of restaurants/businesses. Be sure to attend Butchard
Gardens, Craigdarroch Castle. We rented mopeds, they are not pricy, and that was
one of the funnest things just to go on around scenic drive around island.

Very nice stay in a somewhat crowded room with 2 queen beds. Was able to find a
very good price. Had an issue with the toilet which was fixed almost
immediately. Located very close to a large mall but not very close to inner
harbour area but we had our own car so it wasn't a problem. Be sure to take in
the fireworks show at Butchart Gardens if possible.

Our room was very small for three people. Bathroom was very small and dark. Our
room had a kitchenette but no hand towels or paper towels. It felt as though
they didn't want us to use the stove. Some of the walls had visible round holes.
Carpet were stained with threads coming apart.
We were very disappointed with the staff at the front desk who pointed us to the
direction of the attached restaurant, when it was already closed. When we told
her this fact, all she said was "oh". Of course we intended to eat there.
The location was too far from the Harbour. This experience marred our
expectations of a hotel chain that was supposed to be good.

The hotel is clean and modern, has air conditioning and a good Chinese
restaurant on site. It is conveniently located to see both Victoria harbor (not
walking distance), and get to the airport easily. It is set away from Douglas
street and can be hard to find first time. Parking is scarce near the Inn. Bit
noisy from street traffic but AC drowns it out.

The location. The front desk staff. This was suite with a kitchenette. They did
provide some dishes and cooking utensils, but no silverware. We had some
difficulty with our TV and called the front desk. He said he would be there in 5
minutes, but never showed up. We finally figured it ourselves. He really didn't
care about us at all.
